Beautiful! I've been watching van life videos for over a year (I'm probably a year away from being able to do it) and you just changed my whole idea to include looking at Class C RVs instead of minivans. The cozy factor is important to me, and you've completely mastered it. Thank you!

I literally just came from looking at vans for van lifers tiptoes. These small rvs seem like a better choice and less work as far as installing cabinets beds and showers...

The reason I picked a used small class c is mostly cost. What I paid for my rv would barely get me an adequate non-built van. I plan on doing some redecorating but it's already road ready. I don't have the money, tools or location to work on a van for weeks/months and as a 66yr old lady I just don't want to tackle such a project that I have zero experience with. Also, there are solar setups that can be plugged into your 30amp rv so you don't have to build the system yourself and flexible solar panels that can be attached to the roof without having to drill holes for frames and brackets. I do plan on replacing the toilet with a small composting one and carefully installing a tiny wood heater for emergencies . These are things that can be done ,along with decorating, whenever I get around to it. My rv is 23yrs old so there's a lot of rv parks that won't accept it so I'm preparing for mostly boondocking. @Vanna Mae, Your home is lovely. You’ve taken such care in your decorating and remodeling. I do travel with my Berkey and I have a tip for you!! So instead of filling and emptying and disassembling and putting back together every time I move, my kitchen faucet swivels. I cut my wooden cutting board so that it fit just inside the lip of my sink (my sink is an under-counter sink). I then slide the Berkey up against the faucet, put some of the non-slip cabinet liner between the Berkey and faucet so neither gets scratched and, then, I bungee the Berkey to the faucet. You should be able to do the same. You could attach “feet” to the underside of your cutting board so that it fits over the sink without sliding. Do this, you’ll never have to disassemble your Berkey before travel and, in fact, you won’t have to empty your Berkey before travel, which means you always have your filtered water during travel. Thank you for the Dash tip. I’m gonna have to check them out!!

Oh wow, you shared some really great ideas! I honestly never knew you could make anything other than rice in a rice cooker. Go figure!! You did an amazing job decorating. Very, very cozy, I love it! You nailed this with all these different vibes for different times of day or moods. I'm having a hard time finding the appropriate words to describe it. I guess the ability to go from brite & cheerful to relaxing & romantic with a sort of meditation vibe with the dim lighting mixed with the flickering type lights you can only get from candles, which I'm totally obsessed with. I also really love how you were able to create different spaces for particular needs in such a tiny space. In 19ft you managed a kitchen, dining room, den/library, cat room, bathroom, living room, bedroom, guest room & a vehicle to drive wherever you want to go. The wood slab is fantastic! Let me tell you about Museum Wax, which is a way to hold things down without doing damage. I have cats too, and some antiques. Museum Wax comes in very handy. I also used it on a vintage Jeep to keep out moisture until I could get new weatherstripping installed. So I think it’s a very good friend to RVers and cat lovers alike. 🍀

Hello. Really nice video. I remember watching your original one when I got my rv. I have a similar one only a few feet longer. I wanted to comment about the Berkey water filter. I have no problem with it. I bungee it to the wall when I drive and have no spillage. Also, I put a paper towel under the lid to keep it from making noise as I drive. Good luck!

The water filter thingie...I’ve noticed several people attach a bunji cord to the wall and wrap it around while driving. I love your whole setup. I’m going to look around for one like it. It’s a lil bigger than a van and I love the overhead bed. I had one that had a skylight. I could open it up and sit on the roof. It was great. I also like having a rear window. I didn’t see one in yours. It’s beautiful and perfect.

I bungeed my Berkey on the top unit with a towel in between it and the wall. It holds water and doesn't move around. You might need to put a couple of hooks into the wall or some kind of something to attach the bungee to. Love your place. I have a four-window skoolie and love it. So important to put your touches into your living space. I really like your colors. I do the same thing with sarongs. So much fun. Happy travels!

Nice update to your rig. For the Berkey just put a small adhesive backed piece of velcro on the bottom and a velcro strip (adhesive) around it attached to the wall. Same way you wear your belt around your waist. Dining table is a nice work of art. Stay safe and blessed.
