I really had fun with this film. Michael wasn't afraid of or obeying Corey he was using him as a means to an end. Like Frank and Julia in Hellraiser. He brings him victims. They share evil and whatever Michael saw I'm his reflection in his sister's window, he saw in Corey. The Mysterious radio tower could be an awesome premise for another film (without Michael, being another anthology like H3).

It reminded me a lot of Hellraiser too. But I was thinking also of Allyson and Corey’s relationship like Frank and Julia’s. Corey is consumed by evil (like Frank), and Julia stays in the relationship despite this because she’s grown bored of her monotonous life (sort of like Allyson, although Allyson’s was more grief related).

When Corey rides his bike through the underpass, you see graffiti that reads Love Lives Today (bar flyer from Kills) and what looks like a silhouette of Michaels face. The woman that hung herself in the beginning appears to be Oscars mom from Kills. Not verified but her name is in the credits for Ends. Outside the diner, Bahn Mi is listed as one of their food options. (Bahn Mi sandwiches were discussed in the police car in Kills) There’s a variation of BOC’s Dont Fear the Reaper playing at the grocery store and as the credits begin to roll (played in the car in H78)

I didn’t hate the actor of Corey, I hate that I was duped by marketing that this movie would be about Laurie and Michael. Their story seemed to be an afterthought. Was also disappointed that Lindsey and Frank had such brief scenes. I would have really liked to have seen a long, massive chase & fight with Michael vs. Laurie, Lindsey and Allyson in the house at the end with the women surviving.

As an "original" fan from the late 70s, this was NOT a good conclusion. And trying to put some kind of implied "love story" twist to this lore is absolute blasphemy. Complete disappointment in "Ends". And I really liked 2018 and Kills (minus the hospital mob scene)...was looking so forward to Ends. I bet I'm not the only fan that feels like I got Game of Throned. My opinion, DGG had a huge opportunity and blew it hardcore.

I disagree John carpenter was fully involved in quite a bit of this trilogy even the soundtrack I believe they ran a lot of this stuff by him to gain his approval if the original creator approves and you have multiple members from the original cast involved to reprise their roles even nick castle how is that in any way dishonorable? These are light years better than anything after the original Halloween 2 or the ridiculous Rob zombie iterations now if you want to call those dishonorable I can get on board with that. What would you have rather seen happen just curious what would be your perfect ending to leave a cliff hanger like every other one before it? Ultimately no plot is going to make everyone happy and I was let down by a few aspects but Out of all the ways they could have ended this trilogy this certainly isn’t the worse they said that they wanted to portray him ultimately as mortal like carpenter and get away from the supernatural or cult BS and they stayed true to that. They paid more homage to the original in this trilogy than any other by far and they did an excellent job with the masks all the other ones from 4 up to Resurrection and Rob zombies are straight up trash compared to These too some worse than others

I thought Halloween Ends was supposed to be set in the same night as Kills.. Wasn’t that the original gameplan? It seems like they changed ideas for the last movie when they should’ve stuck with the blueprint. The movie could’ve worked as another entry but not as the last movie. Michael should’ve gotten his strength back from Corey’s murders and killed Corey to transfer the Evil back into him and then another movie could’ve been made. I looked for her in that final scene but didn't see her. Was she shown in that scene, and I just missed it? Did anyone see her? I love the callback to Kills laurie showed Michaels his reflection on the knife before killing him thats his weakness. Why Karen had to die at the end of Kills because she died there Laurie found out how she died obviously as she knows in Ends and knowing where Karen died helped Laurie to figure out that would be the way to Kill him show him his reflection. I read in the og script of kills laurie says it has to be spiritual to kill Michael. Ends definitely feels that way with the final scenes.

Could be nothing but when Corey looked into Michael eyes its like some of his evil went into Corey like Michael knew his end was near and needed to transfer the power to someone else, because his powers seems to dwindle by the end of the movie like the body that hosted the evil Michael was too old and taken too much damage to keep going, and when they do kill him while he was on the table, no one made eye contact with him, like they knew that the evil might transfer to them like Corey, now Corey power was just coming into play 2 shots to the chest falling, knife to the neck any of those he should of bleed out from and had enough strength to fight back Michael, yes Michael broke his neck but people have survived broken necks before in life, so Corey could survive look at all the ways Michael has been killed or tried to kill over the 40 years and came back, Corey has motivation to come back and he said it "if I can't have her no one will" the drive force that the evil needs and how Lori help keep it from happening, now with the injuries to his neck he probably can't talk now, but a new movie could take place of him waking up in the morgue and leaving to heal til the next year, evil being reborn is nothing new jason done it, and so has Freddy

Awful awful movie. They could have opened it like a flashback like they did in Halloween kills. Where Michael was a kid and u see him leaving for Halloween before killing his sister and his parents r saying goodbye. U see this from the perspective of behind his head. Then u c him say something 2 another kid but never hear it and the kid says no Michael thereby adding mystery. Then he kills his sister. Then it shifts to wen hes a teenager in the mental hospital. Again the perspective is from behind his head and we see sum awesome kills like a nurse getting stabbed in the nose and this is actually wer he gets his first mask which is strikingly similar to his original mask and we get to see teen Michael in a extremely similar looking mask. Then it shifts to the night Karen was apparently murdered and we see from his perspective how he entered the house and how he escaped. Its also revealed that karen just about survived her attack. Then it shifts to present day, a woman carving a pumpkin in present day. The day b4 Halloween. She puts knive on a shelf not noticing it falls. Then she is making decorations for Halloween and spills red paint which goes on the knive. Michael picks this up and it becomes his new improved trademark weapon becoming stained with blood over time. Also near the end of the movie she doesn't just kick his leg and he groans like an old man. She kicks like 3 times in an awesome shot for shot instead. She doesn't impale his hand. She cuts it of leaving him practically unable to kill due to having only 2 fingers. The mob cuts his legs off and burns the wounds. Then wen shes putting him in the grinder he grabs her with his 2 fingers and the sheriff guy shoots him making him fall into the grinder. Much cooler this way and hes alive as hes being chewed up. Also they include karen somehow in parts of the movie. Also Corey shudnt have spoken and just laughed instead. His His laugh was awesome epic and he shud have survived somehow. Theres so much potential they could have done. Flashbacks etc setting up an arc for a story about Michael time in an asylum and how he escaped. Feels like they deliberately made this bad knowing they wud make easy cash because of the previous movies and by doing this its keeping the fans coming back hoping the next reboot is better. Im kinda thinking its almost as bad as resurrection.

It’s such a terrible movie! Halloween is my Main/Favourite horror franchise. My dad made me watch the 1978 original when I was 4/5 & from then I was immediately petrified of Michael Myers! The nightmares & the hypothetical scenarios in my head this franchise gave me was scary and funny at the same time. ‘Halloween ends’ ended poorly. The film lacked fear-factor & storyline. Alison became even more annoying or just as annoying as her mother in the previous films. Imo I wasn’t keen on the majority of the casting in this trilogy, ‘Halloween kills‘ was dragged out by the unnecessary boring hospital scenes. I was hugely disappointed to see Michael Myers so badly injured. The ended was a wtf moment (I do not want to spoil it for anyone else) but the end was a waste.
