Yes absolutely! It ewncourages you to be creatively and use different tools. Like, typically the colossus is a no go. But in this position, what else am I going to do with all my shields early on?

Yes! Would love to see more Civ 6 content. Civ 5 wasn't my thing want to try recent Civ games still though.

After conquering cities, I assign a governor to them to manage mood so that they don't get a civil disorder. This means that I lose on couple beakers but at it reduces unrest faster and lowers flip chance (and is convenient). Maybe you should try it too.

The tip about making combat settlers was very clever. Thanks.

Dang the title of this video on my youtube phone app said "wrecking demigod only with only a tiny little pen..." Not where my brain went lol when I opened the video and saw the full actual title

i know this game already played but u did have a chance to build more 3 citys surrounding Istanbul And the Workers no need to micro manage... just put automated
@suedeciviii714215 күн бұрын
Earlier, if I planted cities around Instanbul it significantly raises the chance of a flip. Later on, yeah, one more would have definitely been good. But the game was in the bag. Once I had full rails connecting all my cities, automating was fine, but not before that.

Sorry, I have to give this one a thumb down. This was a well played game, but the sound quality was terrible. The game starts at slightly below normal sound volume . 01:18:50 The volume goes down about half way. 03:03:00 The volume goes even lower to an almost imperceptible level. 03:17:13. The sound increases to about the level where the video started. I wish video makers would remember, if it's too loud, I can always turn my volume down to zero, but I can never make it any louder than what it was recorded at.

Hey, during the stream, I adjusted the volume to drink water. I turned the gain back up, but not all the way back up until later in the stream. The live viewers have to tell me if there's some issue with the stream. I have a lot of balls in the air when I'm streaming and I can't see the output itself. And to be honest, my set up is a bit rudimentary, sorry. As for your maxim, remember that too much gain can lead to hissing or clipping. I'm pretty sure that the gain I use from my preamp is pretty clean (And my recent recorded videos have been a good volume), but there's a reason why some novice creators try to stay on the low side.

That double flip once again steels me in my belief that to have a good game you should turn off culture flips. They are ridiculous in Civ3 and are complete cancer. Imagine going through all the hardships of conquering cities only to lose them without a battle because of bullshit flip? So you are basically forced to fight to death to eliminate chances of flipping. Screw that.

I could have done more to secure the lands I'd conquered. But it is a frustrating mechanic, no doubt. I can see why you'd want it off. I'm lucky that as a streamer, frustration is entertaining
