Thanks Tony, I have a lot of guilt about not getting enough of them done, they're just so time consuming and I want to get them 'right '!

It’s really kind of you to take the time to help beverage entrepreneurs... I can’t find any information about bottling with screw cap lids. I don’t mean The easy twist crown caps I mean the actual twisty ones. How do they fit on and is it feasible to use them? Can you recommend any good glass bottles that use them? Thanks so much for your videos, they are really helpful!

Hi Jonathan, I am thinking of canning my tea recipe. I would love your tips please.

No worries. Acidify, then use a preservative or pasteurise!

*Can you provide an advice about small batch non-carbonated beverages?/ in relation to alternative bottling options from canning. Thank you.

As a rule glass is easiest. 'Small' could mean 10 litres or 1000 litres+, but as a rule a glass bottle with a manually applied closure would be the best route. Preserve using pasteurisation - hot fill or in-bottle bath. Or use a preservative like pot sorb, but that s all application specific unfortunately, and I don't know the application!

Could you make a can that has a vacuum in it that fills through a nub on the bottom and then seals with a metal crimp. Maybe make the walls curved in so they expand out when filled. Then you have just have a machine that takes your liquid and does all that. Maybe also use those new inkjet guns to print the walls.

Anything is possible, but that's the kind of thing that you either want someone else to already have made or have some deep pockets and investors to work with you on creating, alongside a business case and plan for its use
