Hi greetings of the day. Is it possible to do combine fish farming on those tanks. I mean like adding tilapia, nutter and carps in a same tank. And how much tons of harvest we can expect in an year. I saw some videos, like intensive fish farming of GIFT TILAPIA, so they can produce as much as 10 tons from a 7cent tank in 6 months. Is it possible with mixed fishes also?

it is advisable to start such farming after gaining a small experience in this field . Intensive fish farming is an very good option . but u need to find the proper market to sell ur product. bcz if we dont get a reasonable amount , then it will be a failure . Good Qn : avctually tats what is needed multiple farming in single poond . but it will be more succesfull if its in a natural pond

without experience dont go for big pls . In intensive farming , if u can maintain water quality then we will get good growth for fishes . its too risky tooo and initial investment is high

Yes For that U need to contact Ur district fisheries department . They will guide you . (FFDA) in the fisheries.

you can import the seeds either from kolkata or AP . just google about the hatcheries in these places , if you are looking do it largely. otherwise consider the nearest hatchery . i am from kerala . so i am not having the contacts of farms at mumbai
