@@Ridgewood460 ohhh yessir, Ash or soft Maple is my favorite to split but I love Cherry. I can’t wait to see some Elm and Hickory come to the yard. I’m sure the Ultra will be just fine with that too. Thanks for stopping in.👍

@ I’ve split some tough wood with my ultra,,,, Still haven’t tried out my four way wedge. Not much ash here where I am located
@ShermanLawncareAndFirewood5 күн бұрын
@ I pushed some decent sized Maple and I think a couple of Black Birch through the 4 way and it handled it really well. I was grinning ear to ear. That might have been my 1st video but not positive

Just an absolutely smooth operating machine. You deserve nice.

@@yorkfirewood I realized after I did the vid that I do own “nice” stuff Ken, but the Ultra was a nicer machine over the Huskee. Haha but I split a lot of wood on that old Huskee, it owed me nothing. 👍

The ultra makes some super nice wood fast man 🎉
@ShermanLawncareAndFirewood4 күн бұрын
@@LogCabinFirewood yeah buddy, when you set that 4 way just right you can produce some firewood quick. It’s insane how fast you can split if that wood is staged. Thanks Jack 🤘

Looks like some perfect 4 way food! A little snow on the table makes sliding the wood around very nice. Stay safe!

@@765Guys thanks Genin, yessir you are correct, most of that ash is PRIMO 4-way stuff. I need it a bit smaller for my stove. But man you can fly through wood. Thanks for stopping back 👍

@@fricknjeep morning John, thanks for the comment. I want to get into some bigger stuff to make bigger splits, but we don’t use our wood boiler in the basement because it gets so hot in the house. Maybe someday again. 👍

That’s nice looking ash. Around here the ash is all about gone. What’s left standing has gotten punky. I miss it…. Great firewood.

nice homeowner wood splitter
@ShermanLawncareAndFirewood4 күн бұрын
Many thanks Clint, this Ultra works awesome, personally I’d call it substantially better than a homeowner splitter. Though I am a small business and don’t do a ton of wood, this thing is leaps and bounds over my box store splitter and that thing never let me down. Many thanks for stopping in and commenting man. 👍

@ShermanLawncareAndFirewood7 күн бұрын
@@dereksstuff8395 morning Derek..I love that Ultra…wish I had more free time and daylight to use it more…and yessir I’d say 70% of these were hit. I have a small Ash cutting project to sneak in. When I checked it this past fall (before leaves dropped) out of 7 trees in a 25’ area, 5 were hit. I recommended to the owner we should just take them all. Seems they don’t care, those trees range from 5-12”. EAB knows no boundaries. Thanks for commenting brother
