Thanks for being here! We're evolving through what and how much to share here vs patreon given how much hot-spotting happens but moving forward i think we're striking a good balance into the new years releases 😊🍻

Another great one!! Thanks for doing what you do (since a long now) and sharing you experiences. Love your "NZ made" videos of course, and love the ones around the world too! Those small streams like that one are just so nice and interesting to fish. Just saw in the comments in an older post (named "Easy Dry Fly Fishing: Small Creek Cutthroat Trout) that you use Smith low light ignitor glasses... Is that your favorite lense? I have the choice to grab a pair of Smith yellow low light yellow ignitor OR Copper lense... Any thoughts that could help making a choice?? ;) Keep posting, a pleasure to follow you on youtube :)

Hi and thank you for the compliments :) We only use the low light ignitor as it is a universally solid lens that our eyes have adjusted to. We're not big believers in lens color, rather, solid polarization with ample light to see the fish is our focus - which the Smith LLI lens does so well. Hope that helps!

Someone may have mentioned it to you before; you share the name of a Danish rod and reel manufacturer. Their products are as great as your videos are. Stay strong 🙏🏻

@@robertblair2035 you can do it. Especially during salmon run or steelhead fishing in a small river / stream.

You guys ruined your channel by doing the patron series . So stupid , you had some of the best fly fishing videos on KZbin .

Why not support us and get the full 40 to 80 minute videos at Patreon? 5 bucks a month gets you all of what you are seeking and the accompanying Producers' notes. Given how much we give and how well it's produced to empower our audience, why wouldn't you want to support that? Supporting what you value is important in life. We provide our best to those that value us.

@ it’s a liberal move . You could make that off of views and ads on KZbin
@jensenflyfishingАй бұрын
@Bassmastersalad Hi again. I'm not sure how to reply to someone talking past reality. There is zero chance of us getting to the level you speak of given how we film and share - we're slower and deliberate to sharing the how and why we do what we do - and that certainly doesn't garner the views. You need about 500 to 750k views per video to get beyond covering costs on KZbin - our videos get about 10 to 30k. As it is, for $75 avg youtube 'income' per video we aren't going to give away our artistry, experience & knowledge along with 6 or 7 days (×2 ppl) of our time that it takes to travel, fish & film, edit and publish our work. Patreon is the only thing that makes sharing on social possible and we share our best work with those that value and engage in what we share. Our vision is that every video is intended as a full immersion into a guided fly fishing trip of information and experience and people that value that support it. Thank you for understanding how we got to the place of exclusively releasing our full and best work at Patreon. It's wonderful that you appreciate our work and releases. We need people to step up and express value through supporting us on Patreon to make the exchange of us producing such content that has impact on your fly fishing. All the best! Dave
