Little cool feature. My first world I made in early access had a ton of map markers (I used them for ores, etc) and when creating a new world for V1 all the map markers stay, neat. I definitely like the faction feature, kinda still wish we gotten NPCS like Enshrouded where you can bring them to your base

I loved Grounded but stopped just short of the final lab. Always planned to return once they finished expanding it, but have not yet. Since you've played both of these by now, how do you feel about this game compared to Grounded?

Highly dislike how fast insects respawn daily… had a whole pack of ants spawn directly on me while I was still fighting the previous pack that spawned :(

I assume its the red soldier ants you're struggling with? the Carpenter Ant warriors are a breeze to kill even when theres more than two in the early game. Are you parrying attacks you're having trouble with? the game doesn't really tell you, but if you block just before an attack it'll cancel it entirely and let you get 2-3 hits in before they start trying to nibble you again. One of the best weapons you can get early is the Poison Mace. Does both blunt and pierce damage and poisons on top of it all. I killed nearly everything in the base game with that mace, it wrecks - specially when you upgrade it, or craft a superior version via dumping points into intelligence.

I played my first hour this morning, the combat is gonna take some time to adjust but I feel like this game is gonna be awesome to play. Also I know there's snakes to fight so while this is a longshot, maybe we get a endgame snake mount?

Been playing since early 'Early Access', and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. Things like Combat, Tames, and other mechanics, I hoped would have been improved on. Instead we basically got content updates, and very minor tweeks. Which I can't complain about the added story and biomes, but everything still feels very bare bones, and incomplete. I think this game totally needed 6 more months, before a 1.0

I think my game is glitched I cannot build on Xbox? I claimed the tree have the building Hammer equipped and it says B to build but it does nothing?? One time when I went to the compendium and went to build all of a sudden the building menu popped up I put down a few floors and since then I can't get it to do anything. If anybody could help me out I would greatly appreciate it thank you in advance

Usually 1.0 are for console releases Anything that isn’t usually goes under the (Game preview) for Xbox

Am I just being picky, or does having a roadmap like this just make it not feel like a 1.0. One thing to add expansion like stuff, but If you're "overhauling" stuff, you probably don't have a full release game.

Agreed, if it was all just adding more content it'd be fine but knowing you need to overhaul two major parts of the game already does not feel like a true 1.0

Completely agree. I won’t be playing until June - the mount system needs a complete overhaul.

Things can always be improved, very few if any games have a mechanic or system thats perfect imo

I'm looking at the roadmap rn and to be honest, a lot of this sounds like qol features, I think this stuff is just qol features and they just made a poor choice of words, calling it overhauls.
