I live in a town of 35K. I'd love to photograph in a "big city" like Providence. 😉

@@stvkrenim aghh I also lived in a town of 22,000 and would commute into the big city (Providence) for my shooting days. BUT I actually did make a video on my channel about shooting in my small town as well, if you’d be interested in that! 🙏🏻

"This is the city I'm connected to" - I think you nailed it with this comment, some people are visitors or tourists and skim the city..if you are local you understand it, are wired in to it, and connected to the people who live there.

I live in Seattle. Downtown is dead. I walk entire blocks without seeing another person. I go to the Pike Street market to see people. This happened after Covid. I just spent a week walking the streets of NYC. Wow! What a difference. It feels like I live in a small town almost devoid of people. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
