Headrush Prime owner. I've tried them all... HR is the easiest UI learning curve, and it's best platform for getting good tones quickly. For users who don't need ALL the parameters and endless menu diving, this one gets you plugged in and making good noise faster than any other.

FM3 sounds and feels like a real amp when you set up an amp and a cab. Headrush is still polishing 11R turd code from the early 2010’s

Is headrush prime the best multieffect so far? If so I want to buy
@Tognar7 ай бұрын
@@monizag That's gonna be subjective. AxeFX gear is definitely more pro-level. But HR is perfect for my needs... mostly jamming at home or friends houses. And not spending a lot of time tweaking and programming. I think it's the most plug-n-play of them all, but everything out now is SO GOOD!

The lack of a built in expression pedal is actually a bonus. Pedals break. Id rather not have to lose the whole unit if it breaks and have to send it in for repairs when I can just swap in an expression pedal that works.

I ordered a core a few weeks ago. I have significant latency when recording into my DAW (cubase 12). It will only let me use the Headrush driver no other drivers or ASIO. I tried a few tricks but nothing helps. So I ended up ordering another Helix floor today. The HElix is the best modeler I have ever used. It sounds so damned good and has so many options.
@slangdoll6 ай бұрын
Oh no. I’m looking into the Headrush but I’d need it to work properly with Cubase on my PC. Hey, were you using the audio out and into a audio interface or using the USB out or something? I’m hoping the latency issue can be avoided.
@poorbrokeguitarist6 ай бұрын
@@slangdoll I was using it as an interface. I hace a couple audio interfaces but I usually write and record in my bedroom instead of my basement setup so I use my gaming PC in there usually. Now I have my Helix hooked up to it. No latency that is notable fo sure.

Bro. Your comment is gold. Although. I will not be recording soon. Just wanted to ask still. If your not recording. Is the latency an issue in live use with revalver amps or switching scences i sold my hx stomp. So im curious and im startin to sing as well. Any help?
@poorbrokeguitarist5 ай бұрын
@@Benson.BereTV Thanks lol : ). I ended up trading the Prime for a new EMG pickup set and another I banez. To answer your question. You can switch between presets seemlessly. The only issue with noticable latency was with my DAW. The amps sound killer and I will say that I liked downloading captures. I downloaded a capture from a Driftwood wood Purple Nitemare. Just amazing. It is not garbage I just like making music and cannot layer tracks with latency.

I have the headrush gigboard, one of the things I like is that it is a very well built pedal, in the digital platform part it leaves me with some flavors; but it does its job for its price; The core really catches my attention, as always, good job Ryan, will your signature guitar be with Sterling?

Nice demo, you always get great tones out of stuff. I liked your playing samples. Are these different models than what comes in the original Headrush Pedalboard and Gigboard (sounds like it since you said it was the same software)? The Gigboard was like $500, so I don't get why this is twice as much. Sounds good but the extra switches and amp cloning are not enough to get me to give up my MX5. Which is great, because that thing sounds just as good for way less money.

The "GIGBoard" model had bad soldering joints and as a result, you couldn't update the unit. Anyone know if they fixed that? I bought the unit, but had to return it due to this. Apparently, it's a well known issue. I was very sad because I did like the platform of the Headrush items. Can't think about buying until they can take updates.

Hi. Between the Hotone II Stage and the Headrush Core, which one do you recommend based on your experience? I play Rock/Metal/Heavy Metal. I used to have to carry one of my boogie Mini/Dual/Triple head to every show but now I'd like a good sound in a compact pedalboard that I can carry in my backpack. I would also like to have some alternative sound output.

From what I'm seeing these two would be neck and neck if it wasn't for the amp cloning and vocal tech. I just purchased the headrush gigboard and I must say the tube amp feel is really good. I've also have the valeton gp200 which is made by the same company that makes Amparo. I think I'm going to return the gigboard and go with the core❤
