Smallest 4x4 Hipster Door: Tutorial/Explanation

A tutorial/explanation for the current smallest redstone 4x4 Hipster door in Minecraft (java edition). Size is 10x6x4=240 blocks. Abuses shulker boxes!
I just decided to make tutorial this one day.
Made together with @Hi30MC, previous versions with _Reds_XD.
This is made later than and smaller than Hi30's "100 sub special" 4x4 hipsters.

I do redstone and I can not imagine how long this could have taken to make, how it works is actually quite simple but it’s made so compact which makes it incredible, mega respect.

I dont understand how the piston down by the hopper clock is being powered to move that redstone block. I followed your turorial bir the door wont work because that piston is never triggered
