They say to look at the smart car's windshield as proof of it's durability, but I was looking at the other car and it's windshield was fine too. Guess the smart car isn't much better than a regular car after all.

Your test angle of impact is the key to the amount of damage. The concrete barriers should be perpendicular to the car approaching not on a 60 to 45 degrees angle. Then you will see the truthful damage of both vehicles. Obviously the angle of impact skids the vehicle off to the side instead of crumbling the body "accordion style "

this isn't safe, the most dangerous thing in a collision is the extreme change in speed, which WILL kill you. Ask an physics professor changing speed that fast is why a volvo with a huge change in time because of its huge front, vs this where you will be fucked.

Who ever drives a Smart car is simply asking for their legs to be removed. I would rather have a car with a crumple zone instead of letting my legs be the crumple zone for me.
