I've ordered a new XC90 D5 Powerpulse Inscription with Xenon and Winter pack with head-up for handover on March 1st 2017 and I'm very excited. As excited with the style and technology as I was when I got my first Range Rover back in 1996. Your videos, demonstrating the features and systems are very much part of that experience. Nice volvo 😃 When u use the key all u have to do is press 2 times and the second time hold it down and all the window's would roll down 👍there is more you can do with the key also🔑

If you had pressed the other button on the hatch it would close the hatch and locked the doors.

If you walk away from the vehicle without pressing the little tab on the door,, will the car stay unlocked or will it lock after it senses the key is gone?

It stays unlocked. You can lock it from a distance via the Volvo on call app on your smartphone :)

My xc40 t5 rdesign fully loaded suv locks on its own. If I work away to fast then it send a message to my phone to lock it... i press okay then the doors lock.. i hope that help u 🙏

Are the key fobs normally color matched with the vehicle? In one of your other reviews, the fob is actually black.

Hey Alex. The key fobs do not normally match the exterior color of the vehicle, but you can get them in select colors. There is a red available, which will allow you to acquire additional information about your vehicle.

They key matches the color of the interior. You can order new shells for the key so you can change the color

Yes in certain models and option it is matched with interior seat leather. Mine has the caramel brown key fob, saw a R-Design that has the soft black Nappa matched one. For momentum trim it is black I guess

Key fob will match the seat interior if you order the inscription as a standard item, otherwise you opt to pay for the key to be covered with the leather materisl

I got 3 fobs with mine, One in brown, One in black and the third one is red. Lovely leather on there too!
