It was a long wait for the online services switch to be fixed. Other minor changes are welcome as well. I hope you enabled the voice commend for the heated steering wheel.

Please add a PIN to drive option for security. This model is open to key relay attacks if the automatic unlock is activated. Continuous recording of cameras onto a USBC memory stick whilst driving and a sentry mode when parked would make the software perfect. Regarding valet mode, I'd like to see an ability to set a speed restrictor. It might also either be a good idea to ask for the PIN twice just in case it's fumbled and the person doesn't know what they put in. In hand wash mode, keeping the charge flap unlocked would be better to allow owners to clean behind there.

Hi Smart, Please consider the following improvements: 1. Allow permanent saving of drive mode, it is inconvenient needing to choose it each time when the driver wants a consistent driving experience (e.g. Eco or Sport) 2. Allow an optional PIN before being able to move the car, so that a key thief cannot escape with the vehicle, or a child for that matter 3. The pop-up camera you can enable when indicating or moving through tight spaces doesn’t seem to work during CarPlay mode 4. Music doesn’t reliably resume each time you enter the car

One odd thing I have noticed is that the car will not look for or download any updates unless it's driven. Mine is sitting in my workshop and says it's on the newest update but that's 1.3.0 But apparently if it's driven, it suddenly comes up with an update. You'd think it'd be better to have the update option when the car is not being used. Also, many automatic car washes pull you through with a roller under the tyre and you're supposed to be in neutral. But if you put the car in Neutral, as soon as you let go of the brake, the handbrake comes on.

Apparently it’ll start rolling out to everyone on the 28th or 29th (however some users in Germany have already received the update)

My car doesn’t show the update; even when I am searching for it it says „1.3.01a is the current version“. Is there anything that I can do to speed it up?

Hi Smart, some additional ideas for future updates. If there is a better way to share this let me know. - Allow automatic window and sunroof closing to be separate settings, so windows can be auto-closed for safety when locking car but sunroof can remain open - Parking assist sometimes pops up for a moment when entering reverse, I guess because the app is shared, so is probably a bug - Does the air con temporarily turn off when windows are open? If not perhaps make this setting - Allow permanent muting of directions voice (Apple Maps and Google Maps already do this)

Hello, I'm so eager to get my new #3. However I'd like to submit an improvement: Since there are sensors and cameras around the car already. 1. Would it be possible to record the camera footage continuously (like a dash-cam) ? (save 1 minute by pressing a button or if an accident is detected) 2. Would it be possible to do a "sentry-mode" when vehicle is locked by using the sensors to detect proximity and recording the video input ? (or have the cameras running if not too greedy for battery life) Best regards

What would be a game changer and make me consider a Smart #3 would be video on park as they have on Tesla. When I am waiting 30 mins at a charge point, I want to be able to watch KZbin/Netflix. There is no reason why this is blocked on Park on a Smart.

Hello, @bigodes111! Please, try setting the vehicle to entertainment mode by swiping the screen from top to bottom and setting the time to 1h. When the battery level is below 20%, entertainment mode exits. If it doesn't help, please let us know at hello@support.smart.com.

Hi, my smart #3 said that the software version is 1.3.2, but I don't have car wash mode... I'm not sure to really be 1.3.2...

Hello @hgdebuyer, thanks for reaching out. After the upgrade is completed, you need to shift to D gear to put the vehicle into driving mode, and the function will show up on the DHU within 15 seconds. If DHU still can’t display car wash mode, it is possible that the function was not integrated to the previous OTA installation. After driving 10 minutes, you may receive a new software package (approximately only 200kb) (Showing up OTA version and release content are same as 1.3.2). Please click Update (install) exactly like normal OTA after downloading finished. After installation is completed, the function will show up within 15 seconds when the vehicle is in D gear. In case of any questions, please contact us on "hello@support.smart.com".

Nouvelle version installée sans difficulté. Les corrections attendues sont au rendez-vous et il y a de nouvelles fonctionnalités intéressantes (voiturier). Merci à Smart même s'il y a eu un peu de délais.
