You are a life saver. I'm a 1st year apprentice and I've got to blend tomorrow. Metallic silver as well 🤦‍♂️ my tradesman is off so I've got to do it. I'm alright at painting but we use direct gloss. And my boss wants me to lacquer it afterwards which I've not done for ages.

A handy tip T dog.. mostly for the DIY guys and those fast jobs that don't get a full bake.. when polishing out the blend on the top... use the lefthand side of the mop, not the right.. right can drag clear into the fresh coat.. if you use left side of polisher it will only drive the clearcoat into the original paint and improve the blend.. Ja get me? you want thee rotation of the pad starting on fresh and pushing into old.. not vice versa.. Ja Get me! 👌😬😂

I think laying the clear over the sticker is a far better way to do it anyway than have a new one stuck on after, as you then protect it from the elements, help stop it fading and peeling off ect

'It's really easy' he said 'nothing to it really' he said or something like that!! 😱 Yeah right, you make it look easy mate if I was to do that half the decal would be black from overspray 😁 great job as always. Oh my lights are done, I went from 2 small 2foot 2k lumens to 2 5foot 4K lumens (don't forget my booth is small) so went from a warm colour to a daylight colour, it's strange when I turn them on it's like opening a door or walking outside rather than switching on a light, one downside is that I can now see even more crap in my paint! 😭🤣🙏👍

Only me leaving yet another comment for your pleasure 😁😎 You mentioned in your video that you had just finished your editing PC Tony, was just wondering how it was going and was it worth the huge outlay building the PC, so has it made editing your vids easier and quicker? I know how time consuming this job can be.
@TonysRefinishingTV
@TonysRefinishingTV 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah mate it made a massive difference not only to the time but also how I can edit and make videos better but it seems the more I put in a video and the better I edit it the less views there getting these days so feel like throwing in the towel with it atm if I’m honest
@JohnWD40TC02

It would be a huge loss to not only yourself but also to people like me who have learnt a lot from your videos, don't be to hasty to chuck it all in on here Tony as I think you will regret it down the line, you have spent years building up this channel and put a lot of cash into the equipment needed to run the channel which would no longer be used. I think a lot of the problems you are having is that we are no longer getting any notifications of new content on here which will have a big effect on your viewing figures. Why don't you go back to basics a little for a while, just do a few vids with minimal editing and just show us what you are doing and use voice over and on screen text where needed and I'm sure your regulars will still be here watching anything you put out, I know I will but whatever you do Tony don't stress over it mate 🙏👌👍
