I disagree with the apartment complex one, I used to live in one myself. When I was younger, there were little to no people giving out candy because there are barley any kids/people trick or treating. It is also not safe in apartments, because at the one I used to live in, there were robbers and they tried to rob the apartment complex. If you live in an apartment, I highly recommend going to a friends house to trick or treat, because your friends are probably not going to live in an apartment, let along the same one. So if they have a house, then you can go trick or treating with your friend! (that’s what I always used to do before I moved) Don’t get me wrong, I know some apartments are like the ones you are talking about, i’m just taking this from personal experience.
