Smart WiFi Remote Seceuroglide Roller Garage Door Automation-Home Assistant Wireless Phone App Setup

Remember - turn off the power supply before doing any electrical work. If you're not confident then get a qualified electrician to carry out the work.
My roller shutter garage door was installed over 20 years ago so well before Smart devices, Wifi, internet remote control and smartphones were an option. I've wanted to be able to control the door remotely for a long time but only recently found the options using devices like the Shelly One wifi switch. You only need to connect power to it as well as wiring it to a switch on the circuit board of the door controls which allows you open and close using the Shelly App or Home Assistant.
I found that my Home Assistant installation didn't recognise the Shelly device initally but it needed to have a firmware updated before that could happen. Original firmware on the shipped Shelly Wifi switch was 2019 and as soon as it was updated to 2022 it was recognised by Home Assistant.

Thanks for the video. It’s not a momentary inching switch , ie a few seconds on only mimicking a press of the original button . . Doesn’t that cause issues.

I have a SWS Seceuroglide roller door that appears very similar to yours. Mine was made in 2008 operated with an identical remote device to yours. I have bought another used remote that I want to clone to work with my door. Can you describe how to make the second remote operated my door?

I don't know unfortunately. I've never needed to code a remote but it was why I wanted to operate using an app.
