​@@bradmccoy7996 Yup, I unfortunately was like this early on in my adult walk. I grew up in a Christian home, albeit a pretty liberal one, even giving my life to the Lord as a child. However, it wasn't until I was in my late teens, early 20's when it clicked. I immediately became zealous for the LORD, however in a puffed up way. "They aren't studying as much as me" or "They don't know much doctrine." I definitely repent of that. So now I'm trying to find that fine line, because scripture is very important to me for I do love the LORD very much, it is His Word after all. But passion can burn too brightly. Turning into something sinful.

This is a tricky topic as some think a move of God is predicated upon miracles/healings being delivered through the hands of a particular person. It’s almost as if they don’t believe the Spirit that gives these two gifts aren’t within them to provide. This is where I see people don’t realize how they are now placing their faith in people NOT God. When works of healing and miracles happened through the disciples, it was for a purpose of building the church. What I see today are people claiming to have these gifts for the admiration of men, to show they are at a level above another person, or they have a “special” relationship with God. All driven by pride.

In case you haven't noticed, people can make anything line up with the Bible. Have you seen some of the teachings out there? Some believe that Christ already returned, or that Israel's 70th week already happened, or that they are Israel. None of us have perfect doctrine, so we should all be open to Truth, but it must be rightly divided between what is Israel's doctrine and what is the Body of Christ Church doctrine.

I think personally revelation has Dual meaning fulfills both about his character through the symbols of his holiness in revelation and his right to judge Mankind. When we pray we are to pray the will of the father.
