I just bought this one and installed but I’ve been doing exactly what you show in the video : I pressed the programming button below battery then I press num 1 but ones I press the check mark for the fist time immediately fail with 3 bips along with red light flashing. I doesn’t even give me chance to enter my code for the first time. Please I need to know what is wrong here . Thanks

We’ve tried to factory reset. Press the programming button for 15 seconds, then press again after the beep, right while door is locked? I’ve had no success to add a user code or even do the door rehanding. Thx.

Reattach the interior assembly ensuring that the tailpiece is in the vertical position as shown on page 13. So I just tried to install this and it’s seems there is a manufacturer flaw with the deadbolt blade. Mine broke right at install so I’m not sure how well this will do for safety concerns. I’m returning mine and not exchanging for anything kwikset. I also reported this with pictures on Home Depot’s reviews page.

Working as is should but I cant get the deadbolt to reach fully extend to the "locked" position. With the door open and activating into the locked position I can still push the deadbolt in by hand but when using the key it locks into position. All parts are free and not in a bind

Hi Marcus - Here to help! Please try the steps below to help fix this: 1. Ensure that the strike pocket is at least 1" deep. 2. Replace the batteries with recommended alkaline only and not lithium or rechargeable. 3. Perform the door rehanding per page 19 of the installation guide linked here: kwik.st/40ISNIM 4.
