I live next to a toxic couple who’s always causing a fracas. Love the colors of the show and the banners! They make me smile. I spoke about being a gen Xer in a separate comment. I had no clue Mexico used to own all of those states prior to the war!! And it’s absurd that now the US is trying to keep them out. Trump is definitely gonna rescind the medical debt bill.😠 Shout out to your sissy!! Thank you for sharing the nutritional info. It’s definitely tough with me being perimenopausal and a type 2 diabetic. Losing weight and eating effectively is a struggle at my age. Right now, in Philly, I feel like a Japanese Maple tree; sensitive to frost and suffering from the cold 😂. Again, Amanda, you’re an intellectual genius!! I didn’t know I still craved learning. 30:37 The barbershop was the place, especially when I was a child and grew up, where I would get life lessons from the older men sitting in there. Yes there were things I learned from my father, but also my barber Mr. Hornbuckle and the co-owner barber Mr Ford, would tell me their life stories of growing up, which was *how I learned a lot about the black experience,* especially before the age of the internet. I would also hear conversations of other guys coming in, talking about their situations at home, or situations at work, and how they would get through their work situations or relationship issues. Most importantly, *learning how to stay out of trouble,* was one of those conversations that a lot of the guys imparted on me and other younger guys coming into the shop.

I couldn’t wait to comment on this topic. I’m a gen Xer … I was born in 77. I was 3 in 1980….I was raised in the 80’s. …. So where do you think that leaves us??? We actually grew through allllll of it.. we were in school in the 80’s experiencing all the new apple/macintosh (is what we called it then) and we were teenagers actually capability of partying and socializing in the 90’s. We came of age in the 90’s. We grew up with the first big a$$ computers, to video games, to cassette tapes, to pagers, to flip phones, to blackberry, from aol, to hi speed internet. Weeee grew through all of that. I was born in 1977.
