Just thought of a great commercial/endorsement for silver. Picture this; it’s 1690 and a farmer with 20 silver coins is greeted by a government employee looking to exchange currency. The govt. official with the paper money hands 5 bills of printed paper to the farmer, requesting that he exchanges the 20 silver coins for his paper. The farmer with the coins takes the paper with a very confused look on his face. His eyes suddenly get large as he realizes that this must be the new soft toilet paper he’s been hearing about and he quickly begins to wipe his butt with the fancy printed paper. End scene.

Tax cuts always increase tax revenue due to economic growth. The problem is always the government not cutting spending and, in all cases, increase government spending. Example. Ronald Reagan cut top tax rate from 90% to 28% that kicked started a stagnant economy into gear. The problem was he had to make deals with the other parties to get those tax cuts. Those deals were all kinds of newer government programs that swallowed up the new revenue plus more. Trump ran into this in his first term, and I doubt he'll avoid it in his second term unless he goes rogue.

As much as I'm happy that Trump got into office again and could begin to fix the overwhelming damage the democrats have done to this country, I am still hesitant on whatever he'll be able to accomplish with regards to our $35 Trillion deficit. If precious metals begin to drop that just means I'll acquire more. Until the Federal Reserve itself is dismantled and/or brought to heel, I will personally continue to put whatever extra funds I have into precious metals.

Agree. Very likely we r headed for a decade long bear market in all western assets. It will be a period of geopolitical n currency changes. Within US this is the chance to do the long-needed economic n social n government reforms. If we succeed, US will be on a long-term sustainable growth path in a decade. But we must take the pain 1st n do the adjustments. From investing pov, sell all US, european equities n bonds. Go long Gold and Crypto. Go long emerging market trade........ I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months...
