i think the use buttons, i personally do not to waste the second jump if going for up air or even to go for up tilt

+Oerger89 nairo uses tap jump, most people dont for obvious reasons but it works for him. These matches are faster than cpu matches because cpu's are crap and faster than online matches because almost no one good plays online much at all, especially if you mean for glory when you say online

How do you master the short hop fast fall into n-air? Do you think they use tap jump or press the face button (which I do on the pro controller)? I'm trying to get the sheer speed of what they do down, but it's pretty difficult. ZSS is my favorite, though!

The fast fall is at the peak of the short hop. Very quick timing. It takes a bit of practise to move around well and effectively while doing short hop fast fall nair but once you master it, it's just muscle memory. Maybe just go into training mode for a while until you get the feel for it, try incorporating it into your matches. Such a great spacing tool and a necessity for high level ZSS play.

Thanks. I'll keep trying. I've definitely gotten a lot better and I intend to keep practicing. Last night I think I leveled up; in play, I noticed a huge improvement with my Mega Man, ZSS, even Power Suit Samus and other characters.

+Alana Maxwell I've gotten the hang of the short hop fast fall for the most part. But getting the n-air seems very tough. Usually I am too slow, or sometimes I end up doing her down aerial. Do you have any tips on the timing?

+Claire Redfield I suppose the best way is to go into training mode and slow down the game. Just lightly tap the jump button, nair and almost immediately fast fall. You'll eventually get quicker and quicker and be able to incorporate it into your matches. I never really had the problem with doing a dair instead, maybe that's because I use the c-stick for aerials. Used to have a big problem with doing a side special when trying to do a b reverse but it's honestly just thinking about the buttons you're pressing and getting more familiar with the pattern and timing. I heard it's more prominent online though. Like I said, just practice and practice. I always repeat the button order to myself when I try to pull off a move.

+Alana Maxwell Oh, shoot, you do the n-air BEFORE the fast fall? That changes everything. I've been short-hopping, hitting fast fall, then trying to do the neutral. This ought to change things up a bit.
