I wouldn't say Gengar has the most F'd up Pokédex entry! There are some good ones from Cacturne (Sapphire/AS: If a traveler is going through a desert in the thick of night, Cacturne will follow in a ragtag group. The Pokémon are biding their time, waiting for the traveler to tire and become incapable of moving), Sliggoo (Sun: It has trouble drawing a line between friends and food. It will calmly try to melt and eat even those it gets along well with), Gourgeist (Sword: Eerie cries emanate from its body in the dead of night. The sounds are said to be the wails of spirits who are suffering in the afterlife; Y: It enwraps its prey in its hairlike arms. It sings joyfully as it observes the suffering of its prey) And of course, Driftloon...(Legends Arceus: Said to lure away young children and carry them off to the afterlife. Some whisper that Drifloon are formed of reincarnated human souls, but these rumors are as yet unconfirmed)

For example during the Rob fight they stated laser and gyro which are projectiles would do more damage because of special attack, but that the side b would do less. Chomp looks like a physical attack even if it’s a Smash Special Move so it does less. They state this several times with other characters like how Charizards other specials outside of flamethrower are weaker.

Mankey has been my favorite pokemon (tied with haunter), since feb 27, 1996. I'll never forget getting birthday money when i was 5 (yes - i ACTUALLY remember) on feb 7, and waiting SO IMPATIENTLY for the game. I got it, (saved my christmas AND birthday money) got home, caught a rattata, pidgey, made it to veridian, got into the forest, caught a weedle, then a pikachu (yup, i was lucky AF), did the usual, made it to the daycare, and i found him. the best pokemon EVER. When yellow came out, i remember walking to the left of viridian, to look for a nidoran, and found a mankey, JUST like ash. My child brain was bouncing around my skull - possibly dopamine overload. i remember that night, after supper, my mom (single parent btw, and we we're poor.) surprised me with the prima game guide for yellow. I "think" that might have been one of the happiest moments of my young life. Thank-you pokemon, and thank you Satoshi Tajiri, for making my childhood not so rough. Thank you for the memories and the chance to bond with my mother. I will NEVER forget them, and treasure those moments forever.

Legend says in its Unbound form, it once carried off an entire castle to gain the treasure hidden within, or at least according to Omega Ruby.

When there are FAR better offense options available to you. Hell, if you want something with ridiculous offensive power, look for something with the likes of Huge Power, Belly Drum, or (in the case of Azumarill) both. Plus, like you said, it really is trash in competitive. But I'd like to elaborate more on another reason as to why. Most frail Pokemon with good offensive stats can perform well when Pikachu can't--the reason being the Focus Sash held item. Which Pikachu deprives itself from by being shackled to the Light Ball.

Pokken tournament style mod - Each pokemon has a different pokeball assigned to their taunts, nothing legendary or op but someone like staryu, snivy, or oshowatt with situational strengths. These would function like assists from pokken, and perhaps a self imposed rule like one of each pokeball use per stock would balance the gimmick more. The fact that pokeballs are usually random makes them more difficult to set up on, but summoning a specific pokemon for a specific situation could be really clutch and cool

Ngl, this gave me an idea for implementing abilities next, such as: Speed boost: every 5 seconds in a stock you get a .1x addition to your speed, capping out at 1.6x speed total (30 seconds for max effect) Blaze, torrent, overgrow, swarm: you alr know Cheek pouch: heals give you 1.5x healing Intimidate, for the first 15 seconds of the owner's stock, the enemies have .8x their normal damage (applies on all stocks) Volt absorb: you can guess Supreme overlord: every stock lost gives you a 30% boost to your moves (caps at 90%) Guts: whenever you suffer status, your attack goes up by 50% as long as it remains Sturdy: when the player is above 100%, they get a once per stock hyper armor Poison point: the owner's attacks will have a 10% chance to poison and deal 6 ticks of half the attack's damage over 30 seconds Pressure: there is a 2% chance with each step that an enemy in the ground will be put into a temporary stun (im def doing this wrong, but at the same time, making all your opponents moves come out twice as long as they normally would take kinda seems busted) Maybe ill return to this to add more possible abilities to suggest

The Mewtwo has the second highest base stat total in all of Pokémon blurb is wrong… the first highest of including megas is Mewtwo, however I assume that that isnt correct, the actual second highest (not including megas, eternamax, or Crowned forms) is Arceus right behind ultra Necrozma and behind Arceus are black and white kyrem which could be argued are forms however there is still Eternatus who has a higher base stat then Mewtwo. So to sum up there are at last two Pokémon with a higher stat total then Mewtwo and reasonably around 5 but upwards of 21.

Some other small issues I took with this video for no particular reason: Lucario is *not* practicaly a pseudo legendary, it’s stats are off but almost 100 and it isn’t a 3 stage evolution. Gengar having the “most f***ed up Pokédex entry” is probably talking about the entry that says it will hide as your shadow and steal your life, which is messed up, however idk if you could call it the most messed up entry there are some *really* messed up ones. Zeraora isn’t a legendary Pokémon, it os a mythical Pokémon (they are different, though not really super different) The ampharos colors are weird, I get that it is probably supposed to be the shiny colors but even that is a little messed up as ampharos’ shiny is a bit more pink then purple, and I’m not sure what the yellow bands are supposed to be (maybe it isn’t supposed to be shiny colors, idk) He called blaziken a legendary, which I take a small issue with, especially because mega blaziken exists and it would make more sense if it was mega anyway (he did notice that which does make up for it a little lol) He called Iron Valiant a legendary, which it is not, it is a paradox pokemon though so understandable confusion He didn’t note that Groudon was mega evolved (primal reversion)

20:19 Actually in game pokemon battles Primal Groudon has a good chance of winning. They speed tie so whose ability activates first is decided by a 50/50 and then who attacks first is decided by a 50/50. Because they have weather ability who ever goes last actually overwrites the others weather. Kyogre sets heavy rain which negate fire moves and Groudon sets extreme harsh sunlight which negates water moves. In their primal forms Ground has 25% chance to OHKO (one hit knock out) if it wins the speed tie when attacking. If heavy rain is set kyogre will OHKO Groudon origin pulse. However if harsh sunlight set ice beam only has a 13.3% chance to 2HKO so if it doesn't or Groudon wins the speed tie on the second turn it wins. In their base form their weather only reduces water or fire attacks by 50%. If sunlight is set Groudon 2HKO Kyogre if it wins the speed tie on the second turn.
