I absolutely LOVE Smash Into Pieces! APOC (dude in the mask) does all kinds of awesome videos. Flow is absolutely my number one motivation song. And I sang Superstar In Me at my dad's funeral. The band is fantastic. All their songs and videos are fantastic and well done. And you nailed it with the cyberpunk feel.

I have been a fan of Smash Into Pieces for 5 years, and their music is unique and original, if you don't find a direction or don't understand their music videos, it's normal 😊 if it's the first time you're listening to them. The band in 2020 released a conceptual music album called Arcadia, Arcadia is this Cyberpunk-type digital world, much of the band's music is based on this world, where in each song and music video they tell you the story, starring APOC (The drummer with the mask) who fights to free this world from an organic CPU called S4Y or Ghostis. This song is part of the new album Ghost Code, where APOC and the boys return to this world. ❤

Hey you are correct on most things! I just wanted to tell you that (Apoc) isn’t the singer in “The only way is up” the singer is Julian Breucker. I know it’s confusing but that’s the truth!

Yeeeeeaaaaassss Smash Into Piecessssss!!!! Incredible band. So deserving of way more attention. Their lyrics are uplifting and meaningful. Often intimate and have something to say. Chris Adam’s voice is AMAZING.

I love this band. To me their music feels like an electronic rock/pop/metal band. I love the mix. I'm kind of a new fan so don't know much about them. They from Sweden and have released 8 albums. The music video is their own alternative universe and not from a movie. I don't really know the story and I don't know if all albums are connected but as far as I know they started this kind of virtual reality in their music videos with their album Arcadia. All music videos/lyric videos since then are set in the same style/vibe. The drummer/piano player always wears the mask and features as the hero/leader in many music videos. Maybe their music is not for you but I would recommend to check out some more before you decide. (Six Feet Under, Rise Up, Vanguard etc) Perhaps check out some acoustic versions as well. (Save it for the living, Counting on me, Broken Parts etc)

Your feelings are pretty much the same as mine. I discovered this band years ago and have listened to at least 5 of their songs multiple times. But while I like all or most of the parts of the song individually, for some reason they've just never really "clicked" for me. Like you said it feels like something is missing.

I saw them and met them in Chicago a couple months ago. Super nice and humble!

You should react to Citizen Soldier. Really, any of their songs, because they're ALL amazing, but my top 2 suggestions are Tattoos and Would Anyone Care. For a good comparison, they're kind of like the rock version of Ren: dealing with topics such as depression, anxiety, suicide, sexual assault, religious trauma, self-loathing, self-harm, abandonment, loneliness, just so many different mental health topics. And I suggest Tattoos and Would Anyone Care specifically because Tattoos is one of my favorites, and the one that personally hit me the hardest, and Would Anyone Care is the song I first listened to; the song that made me a huge Citizen Soldier fan. They got me through some dark times, and the lead singer, Jake Segura, has been through a lot of it himself, or by proxy. His first song, Let It Burn (another incredible one that I highly suggest), he wrote on a psych ward napkin in 2016 after attempting suicide. If it wasn't for their powerful and relatable music, I wouldn't be here today. And I want to share their music with as many people as I can. Especially with people like you, who have a larger platform to spread their music even further than I can. I do my best to share their music on my own channel, but I'm a gamer, and not a very charismatic one, so people don't really watch my content, and therefore, don't hear me talk about Citizen Soldier. So, as someone who wants to help people as much as I can, even if the best I can do is share CS songs with them, I'd definitely appreciate you reacting to and sharing their music with your community. I actually just watched your reaction to Hi Ren, which was my first video of yours I've watched, and what made me subscribe, and after seeing that, I think you'd really like CS as well.
