when Marss is on, he is ON. he has some magical ability to win every insane gamble i swear. the problem is it's hard to be consistent with it especially when you're playing a nerfed zss. had he not gotten tilted by Olimar and his Joker was more practiced, i think he would've gotten 4th (i don't think anybody in losers was beating gluto lol)

I don’t think he was happy with his placement (by his demeanor on the stage at the end), but has to be happy with how he performed up until then. He had most of the most hype games/plays for the entire tournament. I think he just burned out, there was a clear difference in how he was playing and how he played in his last game. He just needs to build back that mental stamina.

Him placing 13th (seed 76) and Sisqui placing 9th (seed 27) is definitely showing that EU is catching up with time !

Thanks for those nice words. To be honest all those years we were just represented by Gluto. Oryon and Sisqui were always that good, and we have other amazing players that would just have to travel like Mezcaul and Meru (best Peach EU), but yeah, finally Gluto managed to encourage Europe to travel more, cause it hurts if the talent is there but they won't go overseas to represent us

@@lyrics2challenged Day one Incin main here. I would say even or plus one Incinaroar you revenge grenades and Snakes like to shield too much. Plus most edgegaurding options blow up Cipher and high recovery leads to up air juggles. Nikitia edgegaurding is the one thing that keeps it on the fence of even or plus one in my opinion.

The most interesting thing about Genesis 8 was def the resurgence of SoCal. That region took a hard hit in the transition from 4 to Ult, and is prob not even a Top 3 region in Ult(Tristate, New England, and Sunbelt are better imo). Also Pound is going to be hype. Hope to see Ken vs Leo, as Ken has a 2-0 record vs Leo in Ult.

Good thing they didn't stream Cosmos misinputs vs Ikan. I actually wanted to stop watching after seeing it on Nairo's stream. Someone was streaming and pointed their camera at the Cosmos vs Ikan set.
