I swear there's gotta be an inflatable tool for these spots. When my rocker was dented i put an oiled bike tube in the bottom plug and pumped it till it popped. It did a lot more progress than my hand glue tool but i wish i had one of those big pulling setups lol

Unfortunately, limited in get anything behind the damage to inflate and aid in the repair process. Even if there was a possibility, this damage wasn’t going to move without physically pushing with tools and helping with hot glue from outside. Incredible amount of pressure in that stout area.👍🏻

Ive called 5 different self proclaimed paintless dent removal places around me and none said they can do rocker panel repairs. 😂 Instead they all referred me to a body repair shop. The damage on my vehicle is way less than what is shown. Come to Jacksonville, you'll make a lot of money out here.

Excellent quality result! But wouldn't it have been more labor & time (cost) effective to remove the bent rocker panel, & (carefully) weld in a new rocker panel? Of course, there is still priming & painting with replacement of the rocker panel, but it seems like you might still save time & labor.

Great work . That's rare to have an end open on the rocker . Also usually there isn't any space inside the rocker it's mostly double or triple steel so you can't even get to the outer skin . Interesting.

Yes sir, I basically used whatever I could as far as factory access goes because this was a no-drill scenario. Very challenging but fulfilling 👍🏻

Where are you located.? I have a vw golf that was jacked up by a person lol that bent the rocker. No door damage just the rocker. The car is kinda custom . I had to stop due to having strokes. It has air ride and other stuff. But I see that dent every day 😂. I’m not really worried about the paint because it will be repainted all over.

I have a question if your vehicle suffers paint damage and you have it professionally repainted is a PDR repair still possible I understand the risk of the new paint possibly cracking but if you are willing to live with cracks in the paint or even getting repainted again can a repair still be completed

Thanks for sharing your information though. There is an ARC certified technician who's been in business for 15+ years maybe I'll get in contact with him if not I guess I'll be planning a weekend trip to central Florida LOL
