Up in Maine, the place I went to at low tide was more mud flat, with just a slight outcropping of (sharp, slippery, gaping bloody wound-inducing) dark rocks. Lots of quartz chunks around. TONS of seaweed and snails, mussels... but the crabs were all tiny and lobsters were just not to be seen. Where you live is GLORIOUS. I'd eat there a few times a week if I had a place there.

Another fab vid , I live by the shores of the river Mersey , We dont eat bottom feeders , The spots in North Wales are fished out so ive taken to potting American Signal crayfish from the fresh water rivers , They are the only abundant crustaceans available . You are so lucky where you live and you exploit it beautifully . I reckon Sam maybe poxed off that you ate all the lobster though.
