Totally agree, top water is so exciting as you get to see and hear the strike! Redfish are just Saltwater Bass ....the same baits work!

You caught me. Unfortunately the Hurricane really messed up the marsh. The water will take some time to clear up which will bring the fish back.

Ron, always love the new baits you use with us. II Had a question. I just received my Nocqua battery for my FF/GPS. I also run the Garmin striker 4, but was running it on my Cabela's 9Amp hr. Did you zip tie it up a few inches, off the hull? I love the way it sits, facing forward, for easy charging. I also want it in my front bow storage hatch. I'm a finatic with my setup lol. The zip ties you might see are just for the cables. The battery itself is mounted to the mast pole using this mount: kayakfishingaddict.com/product/berley-pro-nocqua-battery-mount/ which allows me to pull it off easily for charging.

Did the hurricane mess the fishing up down where you are, and I hope the hurricane didn't damage any of your property or things

The amount of rain and wind stirred a bunch of sediment into the water so the water is dark and cloudy which does mess with the fishing. I didn’t experience any property damage personally but many around this area did. There’s a lot of disaster relief work going on just South of us!
