It is at first, but some of my favorite parts are seeing my partner's face during drilling when your move all comes together. Getting to use your body again the way it was designed is the best! Thanks for checking out my videos btw, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, getting out of your comfort zone is important. My stomach prevents me from executing a lot of technical maneuvers. This has lead to the ol' 'last kid picked for the team' syndrome when it comes to partnering up but I keep going regardless because learning Jiu-Jitsu is important to me. I am 6'3 and 340 lbs.

It does have to be important to you, first and foremost. Otherwise, not only will we not overcome the immediate challenges, but we won't weather the long road of changes in partners, gyms, body comp, injuries, etc. Thanks for watching and commenting!

My first match was embarrassing to me. We started to roll and the other guy mounts me and i couldnt do anything. I couldnt breathe at all and everyone asked me if i was ok because it looked like i was dying.

First match or tournament? Either way, a lot goes through your mind at warp speed. Tomorrow is a new day though and you'll build on what you've learned. I've learned infinitely more from tapping than when I get the tap I want. Keep building!
