I saw this shit live in INDY in 96 and without a doubt, THE BEST SHOW EVER! Two ginormous drum sets, Chamberlin and the keyboardest rocked them side by side to Bullet w Butterfly wings. When the slow part explodes, they fell silent and the place went black, they came in real and just before explosion, it went black again. The third time, when they got to chorus, The whole f-ing place erupted. Coolest thing I've ever seen

This is an amazing performance. Pumpkins rule! They are one of the top 5 bands of all time, up there with Floyd, Zeppelin, Beatles and Tool! And i have to give Jimmy Chamberlin props, he is never mentioned in top anything drummers, but he is a freakin drum machine.

Never will hear any band come close to the pumpkins when it comes to the power of distortion/emotion. I don't know how to describe it, but their sound was/is so unique and billy's songwriting combined with jimmy's drumming makes for this epic thing. I miss going to school wearing band shirts(I was born in 82 so i'm 32). Pumpkins are my fav of all time. All the 90's bands were great, now we have this new shit that sucks. Dream Theater is one of the only bands I know of that get better and better, check them out.

What tuning or tunings is this song played in? I absolutely love MCIS too and I just recently bought a new cd copy of it cause I seem to have misplaced my old one. I play records in clubs sometimes and almost noone plays SP in clubs where I live. theres a whole bunch of songs by them that Im gonna play.

I miss the old pumpkins band. Billy always wanted the perfect band, well he once had it. Now James is gone, D'Arcy is gone, Jimmy just left and now the Pumpkins SUCK!!! Sad.

Adore was so much more personal than MCIS. Sure it wasn't as epic as MCIS but it was better than it on so many other levels that you aren't giving credit for. lol@the idea of D'arcy writing music.
