@@flibidydibidy you are doing great and the system you are working on looks really amazing. I am not a speedrunner myself, but I like that there are so many different people making content about speedrunning with very different styles and perspectives, this is what got me interested in the topic. Actually, I have a background in CS and I am studying a little bit about neural networks and deep learning and, of course, I would like to build a system that plays video games. So, your content interests me both for the speedrunning and the tech, keep it up!

Also, for 4-2, you might want to add Kriller37 for finding a more reliable setup for Lightning 4-2 with the world's first 4-2 top clip HappyLee style, which saves 2 frames over the standard lightning 4-2 trick, and you don't have to do a fast acceleration in the warp zone. Doing it will barely make the framerule.

I dunno if you're trolling or not, or you're just not following SMB1 speedruns that closely, but with current knowledge, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get 4:53, even by L+R TAS. No L+R TAS gets 4:54.265 and the only improvement made here recently was 1 frame in turnaround room by Maru and we dunno if we'll ever find something new ever. I think for now more consistent lightning 4-2 is the thing to be looking for.
