I don't understand how the TAS gets so far ahead in the beginning of the levels. Is it doing some type of double fast accel?
It's interesting, you can see how tight Kosmic's 8-4 was since he closed some distance between the other 2. You can also see how Miniland's fast accel gave that tiny lead of Niftski. Only complaint is that Badabun's amazing run wasn't up here for comparison.

This is just fantastic work, well done so far! Really gives a good view of the actual time differences. Do you think there's a good way to differentiate which enemies belong to which mario? I think it'd work great as is, but could get a little busy if you had several players racing.
@flibidydibidy3 жыл бұрын
I've considered this a bit, opacity is kind of nice - but I have another idea which involves outlining the sprites with the players main color. I'd like to give it a try when I'm looking at eight runners at a time which is my current target. If it gets really busy, well - that's kind of part of the fun. But you're right I need to strike a balance!

Yea I think in a 2 person race this would be great or a race where racers were further apart but I think putting in 4 outlines/shades for this would just make it more confusing.
