This is an incredible startegy. Whenever the return on risk is higher than the delta/percentage in the money. Statistically, you should be profitable if some consistently.

So. There is much more volatility and the premium received is higher during an environment of high VIX. Yet you are selling a call credit spread. This means you are playing a position on the market staying the same or moving down. Which means the VIX has to stay the same or move higher.

Credit Spreads are especially attractive to smaller accounts because YOU completely control the risk when you write the trade. YOU choose the terms.
