Good educational video for any level. What's your defintion of a higher low? There were about ten higher lows before your exit.

"i need the buyers to beat me" during a short is a statement that gives clarity. the ways to exit has always been a problem. after this video not only me, anyone can really apply these rules and practice and definitely become confident of exiting a trade. another phrase i liked is, " don't care what happens after you quit" let the exit prove you right or wrong; nevertheless not to care is an important statement which will develop the attitude of a trader and in fact it was repeated so many times. thanks for the great lessons.

Hey wanted to tell you. I watched this video late last night. Wow it's great. So today I've been following a stock that's been going down all day and finally at 1:49 Eastern Time it made its first Lower High and sure enough it's never gone lower since. So, I did not trade this but would have been a big profit maker. I will keep working on these and will keep watching your videos. I'd love to have your course but can't afford it at the time. But one good thing today. I made a $ + 90.10 in 11 Seconds. So very happy with that. Thanks Again for these Videos. They are such a Hugh help. :) Terry

to make more in a setup - bar closes above prevoius close for short - wait for a red bar for long - a speed up in price and volume - accelerated trendlines: draw a steeper trendline - 21 ema for trend, ema9 for momentum/ scalp. close below 21ema - lower low, higher high. usually earnings play - measured move target

Holy Cow lol So, long then, if it doesn't close below the prior bar low. So simple. Wow, I'm going to code this and backtest for my algo! I'm only about 6.5 mins into the video and obviously have to watch the whole thing but I went straight to my chart and looked at my moves today; I exited 1 too early and I exited 1 a little late. This exact technique would have saved me a lot of heartache and made me a lot more money. I left like 7k to 8k on the table today (which I knew) and scalped about $2200. Greed and fear as always take a hold. But man, that's really excellent info. Wow. I'm kinda blown away. I need to backtest! I know you guys make great videos but this was specific to what I need right now and that was huge. Thank you! Subscribed!

24:10 can you clarify what the definition of “put in a higher low” is? I see so many of them before you made your exit. How do you know it’s the one in real time? Does it have to do with volume as well as price?(Thank you so much for this video, it’s so great!!!)
@carrd3971 Жыл бұрын
it has to do with consolidation and how aggressive the buyers are. usually it will start to feel like a higher low, ok i'm above to get out and then sellers come in and push it down. usually when i think it's gonna make a lower low and DOESN'T and then buyers start coming in that's your reason2sell

8:59, though that was the first red bar, however it was a hammer candle, and very low red volume too. Sounded like it was worth waiting for that next candle to confirm the direction. This is not a better example to illustrate the first red/green exit. Those upper wicks were ‘first warnings’ of a potential pullback or reverse though.

Do you have a general rule for how far back in time you look for potential supply and demand levels on a higher time frame chart such as the daily?
@smbcapital Жыл бұрын
It likely depends on what time frame you are looking at. If its a daily then you could go back months but for a 5 or 15min you shouldn't be going back months in advance. The shorter the time frame the shorter length in time you should be looking back
@tedeiler7807 Жыл бұрын

@Precisioninfrared9 ай бұрын
Same here. I'm racking my brains saying what am I missing? I've seen a few higher lows prior to the exit.
@topaciot4 ай бұрын
You'll understand it once you've identified the structure. In this case, each lower low originated from lower high, creating a clear pattern. Use plain lines instead of candlesticks, and you'll notice the small turning points more easily. This is pure market structure.
