That's a very neat trick to create the track "sag". Many times I've tried to achieve this effect on rubber tracks, but never succeeded. Thanks for the excellent tip! It's great to see what can be done with a really old kit (1975!) and some ingenuity. It doesn't always need to be a new expensive kit (with even more expensive after-market upgrades) to create a great model. Looking forward to the painting/weathering!

Очень понравилось!Из "древнего"набора,вы построили реальную боевую машину!Показали,что можно своими руками изготовить фототравленные детали(я тоже так поступаю).И интересная подача видеоматериала.Интересный метод изготовления сварных швов,в итоге,самоход получился у вас хорошенько ушатаный,а танкист,как новенький.Вот если бы он был в бинтах,в ожогах там..было бы вообще огонь! Ну,а так:крутая работа,вы мастер!

когда делал провисы гусениц на своей при помощи фена однажды перегрел и гусеница немного расплавилась.😆 очень круто получилось, жду видео с покраской модели.

Love the way you have used the copper to enhance the model, I'm currently building a miniart su-85 and the longer grab handles disintegrated when trying to remove from very thick sprue attachments. Where did you get the copper plating and wire you used. I've subscribed to your channel as I'm really liking the extras you put on the models to make them stand out 👍

I bought both the 0.1 thick copper plate and the 0.5 diameter copper wire on Amazon Japan. I don't think it's that special of a material. I think you can find them relatively easily by searching online. Thank you for your comment.🍺🍺🍺

Very nice build, what kind of putty do you use ? Would be great as well to get a list of all the tools and stuff you use

The putty used in the SU-85 is Tamiya's Basic Putty. I also use epoxy putty, but it is also Tamiya's (fast-curing type). No expensive tools or materials are used. I usually do construction work with common things that I can find everywhere. Thanks for your comment.🍺

Why did you choose Tamiya's SU-85 and not the one from Cyberhobby?

The reason for this is that it is a cheap and simple kit. It's very easy to assemble, and you don't have to stress over the large number of small parts that are divided into unnecessary and complicated parts. For that reason, I choose Tamiya's kit.🍺🍺🍺

Здорово. Но это проклятый провис гусениц зачем? Если смотреть на двигающийся танк в частности старые настоящие Т-34 то гусеница натянута. А иначе быть не может! Определённая свобода есть но гусеница натянута. Провисающая гусеница возможна только на машине которая стоит. Я специально фильмы смотрел. В одном "На войне как на войне" Один из членов экипажа перед боем на самоходке СУ-100 проверяет как гусеница натянута и она нисколько провисала.
