Can’t wait to see the video man please keep your videos coming as much as you can. You should do a video of taking the old one out and putting new one in plus the first drive with the new engine.
@MrClutch440T48 ай бұрын
Randy, you may want to put the actual link to "That Engine Guy" video with his web site video. It was kinda hard to find the actual video of your 383 stroker. I can't tell from the video but you may want to install a fuel pump with a return line for hot weather or else you may get vapor lock and hard restarting due to fuel boiling into the carb. With a return line it would allow the pressure to go back into the tank instead of the carb.

It would be cool to group up with Austin Carr , Santa and friends on Power Tour 2024 .
@lollipop848582 ай бұрын
I got a tunnel rammed 406 from them like the one they have the video posted about. It made about 30hp less power than the one they did the video on. Identical engine. It made the same power locally on the dyno as on their dyno sheet, but was missing 30hp over the one in their video. It made less than their single carb 406 on their site. I'd imagine yours to not be the same as advertised either.

Smeding and Blueprint both make their own blocks. Dont know if Blueprint has the same differences or not. The hand blended valve bowls means someone took a tool and cleaned up the casting in the heads..its not actual porting. Since the heads are made for them they were cast from heads that were ported.

Guessing putting an aftermarket engine in that GN would have been like sacrilege. That GN, although not perfect was super nice. The right enthusiast needs to get a hold of that and fix it and finish the restoration. The 87 Monte on the other hand, nice, but not really a collector car. .
