SMG4 INSIDE OUT THEORY

Mr Puzzles has suddenly returned only 3 weeks after the meme factory mini arc concluded. Is the latest Puzzlevision episode, SMG4 INSIDE OUT, a stand alone episode or the start of something big?

Hey all, No Null here. So once again something unexpected happened this year regarding the direction they’ve taken with mr puzzles’ character. Only three episodes since the meme factory mini arc that featured mr puzzles’ last major plot, he has suddenly returned with a new episode of puzzlevision, SMG4 inside out. Is this marking the return of mr puzzles for his next evil plan and a new arc, which could potentially lead into war of the fat italians 2024, or is this just a stand alone episode of puzzlevision with no major story significance going forward?
Personally, I think this was just a stand alone puzzlevision episode. For starters, except for possibly the ending scene, there were no loose plot points left unresolved, no cliff hangers and no major hints towards anything greater going on. We also see a special intro play rather than the usual smg4 intro animation, which I imagine will be the intro animation they play before any future puzzlevision episodes. That new intro definitely gives off vibes that this episode is not significant in any way. Moreover, the simple fact that this episode only released 3 weeks after the last major story arc makes me highly doubt that this episode is the beginning of a new story arc.
The only part of this episode that raises eyebrows is the ending. We see Meggy suddenly transformed back from her leggy form by mr puzzles. Upon seeing mr puzzles, she recognises him and it appears like she gains awareness that she is in a TV show and begins questioning everything as the show’s production team comes out and filming is wrapped up as the puzzlevision show ends abruptly. This could suggest that meggy has once again been sucked into mr puzzles TV head so that she could play the protagonist role in this puzzlevision episode, and possibly only meggy was sucked in since we don’t see the other characters react to the production wrapping up at all and we know mr puzzles can create false versions of characters. Meggy also appears strangely suspicious for a brief period when she notices mr puzzles on the juice box that smg4 is about to drink from, while the other characters react as you'd expect considering the roles they are playing in the show. Personally, even if this theory about meggy is correct, and it does seem to be, I still think that this was a standalone episode and that the ending will have no story significance in next week’s episode. The ending being the way it is is likely just because it is a puzzlevision episode after all, and they wanted to briefly highlight how the events of the episode were orchestrated by mr puzzles as one of his shows and did not happen in the real world.
However, suppose this was the start of an arc, perhaps mr puzzles misses the companionship he felt with leggy, and so specifically kidnapped meggy and is brainwashing her within his TV head so that she is forced to stay with him and hang out with him by being an unwilling participant in his puzzlevision shows. This may also explain why mr puzzles transforms meggy into leggy at one point in the episode. But i think the premise of this episode, and future stand alone puzzlevision episodes, is that mr puzzles kidnaps certain members of the smg4 crew and forces them to act in one of his shows and then supposedly lets them go. Or perhaps stand alone puzzlevision episodes like this one are non canon to the smg4 series like the remastered 64 videos.
Either way, if this is the start of an arc or a stand alone episode, i don’t really think this was the best way for mr puzzles to first reappear following the meme factory mini arc. They should have built up to his return, as his next plan sounds like it will be more threatening since he seemed very enraged and thirsty for revenge at the end of the mini arc. What I would have done is, after his next defeat, is have mr puzzles be pacified somewhat, with him taking a step back from being a major antagonist in story arcs and taking on a less major role as a classic smg3 type antagonist who also is more focused on creating puzzlevision episodes. That's when i would have started releasing these stand alone puzzlevision episodes, as there would not be a great anticipation for mr puzzles’ return among fans, as smg4 inside out is a bit of a confusing way to bring him back immediately following the events of the meme factory mini arc. Also, as a minor nitpick, why is the smg4 logo used in the thumbnail despite this very clearly being a puzzlevision episode and not an smg4 series episode. Despicable mr puzzles used the puzzlevision logo, despite still using the smg4 intro at the beginning. Anyways, I suppose we’ll have to wait and see what happens in next week’s episode to definitely see if this was a stand alone episode

Here’s my theory. Mr. Puzzles is trying to restart the Puzzlevision episodes as revenge for losing the Meme Factory and his only real friend. While not major yet, it could become a larger issue later on.

I feel the timing of it sorta debunks the standalone theory. What ended 3 weeks ago was a *Mini-Arc* and the previous Mini-Arc (Meme Games) also ended 3 weeks prior to an arc (Lawsuit Arc's first episode was also similar in structure to this Puzzlevision episode, a self contained story with a slight cliffhanger that hints towards what's next). Plus, Puzzlevision episodes in general tend to have a self contained story but also have something else outside of that story. My guess is what happened to cause the events of this episode will be explained soon and that explanation is huge enough to be the reason why this episode was first (similar to how IGBP had a flashback that shows the demonic keyboard).

I feel like this time's arc continuation will have some original "Creative-Control" inspired scenery and finale where just like this villain's original series the troubles for fighting and defeating him will double more than the past puzzlevision saga and as it goes to the greatest end of the arc, the more serious the official arc's finale will be!

I just find the ending really strange, Meggy simply having consciousness at the end. The small update to the website, that it wouldn't make sense to update the site after so long. And the most important. The thumbnail, in the video thumbnail everyone agrees with their character.Tari is sad because she is sadness. Luigi looks scared because he is fear. SMG3 is disgusted because he is the disgust. Bob has an angry face because he is anger. SMG4 has that face because he is the main character of the episode. But Meggy, who should be the joy, looks uncomfortable. So I think that in fact only Meggy was kidnapped.

I'll be mentioning this on the smg4 theorists discord later, but after watching the new episode I came to an conclusion that clench might be planning on pulling a dementio during wotfi 2024. Seriously, the evidence that I've uncovered lines up way too well. To sum this up though, I recommend that we should keep an eye on clench.

Here's something unrelated I should say. Remember how SMG4 said he draws the line at showing Nintendo characters in a hateful or defamatory images? Well I noticed how he has done that lots of times, making him a hypocrite. Take Francis. The reason they made him a villain? Just because they didn't like him. That seems rather stupid. For example, I may not like Flatts from Spongebob, but I would never make a story where he's an irredeemable monster out of spite. There's also the way they did Peach to the point of calling her an object. Seriously, what do these writers have against Peach? There was also the way they portrayed Miyamoto in the Mario gets Stuck as a Gif episode where they made him a bad guy. It seems odd how they are trying to portray Nintendo as a bad guy when that's what made them famous

I agree with you on this it feel way too early for a new arc especially since usually WOFI usually happens in October or any month in autumn before the end of the year. If this an arc is similar to the short arc and smg4 and the meme factory and despicable puzzles hinted what the arc is about if this does become an arc the best guess I can think of what the arc is it’s probably the same on what you said where mr puzzles is trying to get leggy back especially since inside out for the main point was about the different emotions

It ain't too early though, it's the perfect time. Remember the previous Mini Arc (Meme Games) ended 3 weeks prior to the Lawsuit Arc starting and this Puzzlevision episode was also 3 weeks after the end of the Meme Factory Mini-Arc. The earliest WOTFI can happen is August but it's more likely to be anywhere in the Fall (September to November).

@@SteveM7Nexus I see your point but one of the main reasons I feel like it’s too early is because I’m thinking behind the scenes is that smg4 and the people working on the series would be stressed out if they had to rush to make the mini arc and wofi happen 3 weeks apart from each other not to mention that also smg4 is busy with glitch productions more specifically digital circus atm and it sound like like a nightmare if that is the reality trying to be in 2 places at once

@@antsteel18 The SMG4 team and Glitch are relatively separate, beyond management like Luke, Kevin and Jasmine, to my knowledge. Compared to Western Spaghetti last year, the Meme Factory mini arc was much shorter. They've also cut down on how many actual episodes they're making recently (no Wednesday SMG4 Crew episodes since March and some Saturday videos aren't normal episodes (like the SMG3-4 improv videos and the remasters). Overall, I think they're fine as the Mini-Arc was only slightly longer than usual episodes and nothing that big.

theory: (thing I did yesterday) Mr. Puzzles said that he would do something very bad, the last video was a puzzle vision video (although probably not a story line, because he didn't even had voice acting), and the new video had a lot of references to "IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT". And how variant Mr.Puzzles will try do that again, but with other cast character or again with SMG4 just to make him "coo coo crazy" to destroy new castle or even try to kill SMG4 himself. because the video "dora the explora" or whatever it's named, was not a story line because there was a smg4 logo on the preview, just like this time, and when, for example, there was a parody of minions, there was a puzzle vision logo, that's why I think there will be +- 2 or 1 mini arc and by the end of the year there will be a big arc, due WOTFI. (did today) Found another reference on its gotta be perfect: the characters not as emotions were SMG4 and there was Mario, Mario was as a person and as an emotion in SMG4 and in himself, and Mario and SMG4 were the main characters in IGBP. And also when SMG4 wrote in Google: "WHERE'S THE FUNNI??!?" He said in the new video: "I..found the funny!"

(But secretly also he also doing it as part of revenge mostly because if losing his only REAL friend leggy, and not to mention losing to meme factory). Anyone else been feeling off about SMG4 lately? Like something's not right even before this latest episode? Well I have a theory, originally had the thought during the Meme Factory episode. I theorize that Puzzlevision has never ended. Let me explain: 1: The latest episodes, ever since the Puzzlevision arc have mostly been rehashes of existing movies. Even those not explicitly (or at least not obviously) under Puzzles's control. 2: None of the episodes start with "SMG4: " anymore, which to me seemed odd. 3: Puzzles returned out of the blue by a weird "coincidence". 4: SMG4 has been turning into a more antagonistic character, while Puzzles was turning into a protagonistic character. 5: At the end of Despicable Mr. Puzzles, he turns around and directly addresses the audience saying "Don't you just love it when a plan goes right?" I think Mr. Puzzles "losing" at the end of the Puzzlevision movie was part of his plan. That movie we saw was the actual movie, it wasn't us watching a movie inside a movie that was the point. Puzzles played himself as the villain of that movie. I believe the Puzzlevision movie was HIS movie. He directed the "perfect 5-star" movie, which was titled "SMG4 Movie: PUZZLEVISION". And he did say "When those gorgeous stars hit 5, I get creative control of your real life". I think Puzzles is IN control CURRENTLY. He is trying to get the audience on his side to cast SMG4 aside and turn himself into the star of the show. And this latest Puzzlevision-esque episode only adds to that theory.

Where Tom character confess alongside his wife to Father thay they have sex before marriage but stalling with some shenanigan happen. One of the confession is when his wife conffes to Father and then Tom said "Cut" bunch of crew come out and wrapped up and his wife ask "Who are these People ?".

Maybe Mr. PUZZLES is trying to kidnap The SMG4's Gang Again... Meggy is the only that have saw the previous events of The Puzzlevision Saga. First seeing the IGBP's incident and later seeing the obsession of his perfect video. And i wonder what happened to the others offscreen. Or maybe they have left Meggy inside the emotion Control, just like they did with Peach which led months of the exposure of the Demonic goop infect Peach. There were only 4 arcs and a Mini Arc over the course of 1 and a half years. That's been the standard amount since 2022 (an Arc early in the year, a Mini-Arc/Arc in the Summer months, and an Arc in the late Summer/Fall).

Unbelievable. I try to keep my standards as low as I possibly can, and they STILL somehow manage to fall short of them. There truly is no limit as to just how utterly ABYSMAL these things can get. And what was the point of even having it BE a "PuzzleVision" episode when Mr Puzzles only appears in two scenes for a few seconds and doesn't have a SINGLE line of dialogue? I'm fully convinced the writers have it out for their critics and make these episodes as terrible as they can solely to SPITE us. The worst "PuzzleVision" yet, and it's not even a contest.

Yes: there are plenty of criticisms of the show that aren't expressed with a lot of niceness, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're done to call the creators out. I can ABSOLUTELY put my emotional slants aside and just be 100% logical with my criticisms, but it has to feel solicited.

Stuff that doesn't feel like constructive criticism that can't really be implemented or worked with. Most of the critiques about consistency that give ways to improve are ones that are constructive cause it's something that can be implemented. Plus, the SMG4 team does want to improve (Medi (an SMG4 writer) for example is compiling a doc that'll help with getting these genuine critiques implemented)).

However, even though my critiques have tended to be pretty harsh, I've often tried to provide alternative ways of doing things better. Unfortunately, more often than not, they seem to fall on deaf ears, with the team actually doubling down on the problems. And what you said about Medi with his document? Oh, give me a fucking BREAK. Out of everyone on the team, he's honestly the WORST offender when it comes to implementing bad ideas. He's the one who worked in ShiningLotl's Axol plushie model and had it appear with the bartender costume in "SMG4 News", despite this absolutely DECIMATING continuity. He also created Leggy, and I'm not even going to explain why THAT's such a problem.
