Just out of curiosity, what shoud have the Fw-190 D at 5:00 done? I could have imagined myself ending in his situation and not knowing what to do against a P-38 at the same altitude. Run? P-38 would catch up. Turn? P-38 would out turn me like at all speeds. Go vertical? Die like in the video because the dora has a bad turn rate. Head on? Last time I played MG 151/20s underperformed hard and the P-38 has that dumb damage model that will resist damage to the center. Not being there and climbing instead? In ARB the P-38 would end up above me no matter what I did. I wasnt the greatest player but i felt so inferior in the Dora to everyone else that i gave up on the game, so I am curious on your toughts.

1) no P-38 wouldn't catch up, not after that kind of turn 2) Dora with landing flaps can easily outmaneuver the P-38, especially since P-38 is very clumsy to aim with 3) the Dora has every advantage on headon, especially if its the D12 with 30mm 4) really Dora is an overal better plane than the lightning in almost every circumstance, apart from maybe near-stall maneuverability

@@smigoltime Idk what I did wrong then. Every time I would try anything I would just die. Repeat manuvers I tought I knew would get me killed just to see if i got killed due to a rare ecception. And always the same result, I die. And that was not just the P-38 which is why I was always shit scared of dogfighting. And would run away not only in my Dora but my Ta-152C aswell. I watched tutorial videos on yt but they all looked like they were presenting ideal conditions and not things like what to do when an I-225 is and will be above you.
