I'm the person who said that in the video. It's just about no exaggeration, the F-5C and Es flight models are incredibly busted, especially the E. He was 5km away behind me going the exact opposite direction, and I assumed that I would have enough leeway to not watch my six for about like 20-30 seconds but no. He was able to turn a complete 180 and get within 9J range in an insanely quick amount of time. I was in a mig-21SMT which on paper should out-accelerate and out-top speed both f-5s so he was able to do that solely off of energy retention. The f-5 is a braindead plane, and anyone who says otherwise is simply just not very good at the game. If you want to call me bad at the game, we can always compare statcards.
