Thanks for the video. Such a pretty town! I wish I could visit. Only thing missing is we didn't get to see your ceramics. Maybe in the next one.

Don't apologize. Just looking at the homes is enough for a one day trip. It's a beautiful city.

Oh, man. One day certainly is not enough. The history museum is well worth the visit. Another famous spot outside of the center of Hagi is Shokasonjuku Academy set up by Yoshida Shōin, one of the area's famous Meiji Era reformers. Ah, and you now just found the ceramic kilns and shops near the castle.

Hi Shinichi, this was a fantastic video, yes you’re definitely right one day is not enough for visiting here and I hope to see the two of you return at some point to show more of this interesting city. The castle grounds and remains were very impressive and such an air of grandeur to them. Always great seeing koi and also turtles as well. Thank you for this upload, I really enjoyed it. Best wishes to you and Satoshi.

Hello, you guys it is such a historical place with such interesting backround. You are funny shinichi, i would buy from the owner too after hearing her story. You have to go back with more time to just stroll through the town. But thank you for a bit of history. Love the places you have traveled too. Take care and have a beautiful day.

Oh Shinichi! You ended up staying 25 mins and you couldn’t let us in? Tell me if shop owner wouldn’t allow 😢 and I’ll understand, but otherwise it’s unsatisfying to go to Hagi and not spend time in ceramic shops (@ 17.25) - especially when you didn’t show us your fabulous purchases. Oh, and at least to have peeked inside one traditional home that you whizzed past because you had no time. I would’ve kept walking past that scrappy ‘park’ with the mikan tree. But that’s me and you’re you.❤

So is this fruit in Hagi like grapefruit?? When you described it’s taste, that’s what it brought to mind for me. Also…the description of what it looks like when ripe…sounds reminiscent of grapefruit.

Delicious looking dinner. A question - Why don't you ask them (the staff) what the items are? I noticed that in the other video as well and is it because of the dialect?
