One of his abilities could be called, "Waves of the Faithful" where his allies trust in him and while walking on the water he places, they heal rapidly like they would in the fountain, however they would be silenced. Enemies would lose faith the longer they stay in the waves and be slowed down in the waves, they would take very minimal damage (at the beginning but as they stayed in the waves, the damage would increase) while also being silenced but the ability would have to have a three minute cooldown at least 🤔

Nyarlathotep, Azathoth, Shub, and Yog-Sothoth aren’t Great Old Ones, they’re outer gods and frankly are way too overpowered for Smite. Hastur and Ithaqua however are Great Old Ones and would fit into this game.

@@1995creed No they didn't. they said they CURRENTLY have no plans for the foreseeable future to add to this pantheon. that does not outright mean they wont add more. it just means they just dont have any current plans for it. thats like asking them that polynesia and Voodoo will only have 1 god. yet we got Baba Yaga for Slavic. we will get mroe eventually, but i dont see it being anytime soon. it might not be till 2022 or 2023. too soon to say. but Cthulhu is definitely not going to be the only one in the pantheon. they prioritize interesting characters and fun kits to make over filling out pantheons. filling out a pantheon is secondary to them.

@@noammo7455 he'd be a healer/support. Duh. That's literally all he did. Maybe he'd have a resurrection mechanic as his ult Multiplication is also a thing. And like...all gods from all religions are OP, so I don't think that would be a problem. For example, Nike's thing is that she wins every battle she fights, right? That doesn't mean that you'll instantly win just because Nike is on your team! It's not like these things are 100% accurate to the story of the character. And yeah, it would be controversial, but if people called out high rez for adding a figure that is still worshipped jn the real world, it would be pretty hypocritical, considering how Hinduism is a live religion, but that didn't stop Hindu gods from being added in the game. Japanese gods are also a part of the live religion of Shintoism. So... Like.... Not adding Jesus because people still believe in him is not an excuse.
