Honestly disappointed by this goddess. Smite has a lack of guardians, and Serqet (or Serket) is a healer goddess. As her lore shows, she protects canopic jars. She wasn't seen as a killer, poisoner or striker nearly as much as she was a healer. She healed poisons and venoms, granted life and protected the dead. The part of her that did poison the unworthy was still a part of her, but Hi-Rez has only focused on that part of her. As a mythology geek, I'm overall unimpressed by a god who followed stereotypes and expectations of a poison-related character, without considering the actual mythological lore.

Matt Thomas Interesting that the example you gave was Apollo, who I thought was pretty on-key. Offensive hunter god, check. Archer, check. Music, check. Sun chariot, check. I've found other comments saying that more guardians are needed, and I think that Serqet would have been perfect. A shame that they made her really overly stereotypical of a poison assassin. There have recently been more and more gods that spit in mythology's face. Scylla is a prime example, as it literally has barely anything that links it to the character. Hades is another god that I feel Hi-Rez really got the wrong end of the stick of.

Thank you. I've been looking through these smite god reveals and comments looking to find something unique. And while there are some Gods that have a cool ability or concept and actually surprise me, but for the most part I just get so disappointed. There's so much potential to create interesting Gods, with unique skillsets, but every God has this cookie cutter model. And also they have to fit these fixed "roles", which is boring. At least in some other Moba/Arts styled games, you could have a hero that could be played as a support in one game or as a carry in another, there's more dynamic gameplay with that kind of style. Maybe this is possible in Smite, but this is what kind of keeps me from getting into this game, it just feels boring and full of (overused) gimmicks

Yesterday I bought her. In my opinion she's a very good assasin. Everyone can learn her abillities usage easily for an average gamer. I don't recommend her for beginner gamers,'cause she hasn't too much health,and she is demanded strategical skills and instics. I found her very useful and every game I get more kills than I can get with other god.

WTF is up with this? I love smite but why do 8/10 of the goddess have to be dressed like freaking hookers or playgirls? 2 escapes 1 CC and a poisonous ult, she is not really op but i will say she will be a lot of fun, almost all of her ability is all on the game and can be counter very easily with beads and/or aegis (i think this is where aegis pendant shine :D)
