@@jayadora So, I had to look this up. It is technically Shiva, but it goes by a different name as well, Ardhanarishvara. Who is a combined form of both Shiva and his wife Parviti. I think they just stuck with using Shiva himself since they also have to render the model in game. Having one half be Shiva and the other Parviti is kind of a hurdle.

Fun fact:- 1 - He is one of the 3 elder Gods in Hinduism; Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver) & Shiva (the destroyer) 2 - Shiva is light blue especially his throat because he drank the cosmic poison which turned his body blue; the poison was so powerful that it could even kill the immortal gods. That is when Shiva stepped in. 3 - He is known as the ultimate destroyer cause once he literally turned an immortal God called Kama_Deva (God of Love/Romance/Sex) into ashes. 4- The 3 spears on his Trident represent the 3 realms, The Heaven, The Earth (material world) & The Underworld (Hell); So when he strikes that on someone, that means his whole existence is gone from all 3 realms. 5 - The snake around his neck represents Time, which he controls; so he is also known as the God of Time & Eternity 6- Maybe the devs don't know that Shiva doesn't wear ornaments made of gold or any precious metal, because he is also the God of Nature, he only wears a tiger skin & a mala made of dry Rudraksha (a Himalayan fruit) 7- Despite being enormously powerful, he is the easiest one to impress than other gods even the ones with much lower caliber than him; because he has no ego. In simple words Brahma- Starts the birth cycle of the world (Good and Evil) Vishnu- Teaches the Dharma to the beings living in that universe and lead them to their Nirvana and glories to both Good and Evils. Shiva- He completely burnt the particular world that turns Evils even after the Teaching of Vishnu won't work, hence from the destruction of the bad world which further build the beam for the new world. Just like when a fruit/vegetables got ripe and we put it under soil to turn into manure to further increase fertility of soil so that when we plant a new tree so can give us better fruit and vegetables. Our main concept are like this Supreme Trinity creates Demigods and Ashuras which leads to the fight for supremacy in the heaven. After getting disappointed by them they created a being with no superpower (human's) and give Demi-gods the mission to lead humanity towards dharma but except (Sun, fire, water, brihaspati the teacher of Demigods etc)few Demi-gods most of them gets corrupt by their power even the king of them (Indra) got corrupt by power and hence we stopped worshiping most of them and turned towards the Supreme Trinity.

There's 33 million where he came from. Shiva is, by gamers POV, not very happening. He spent most of his time atop Kailash mountain doing meditation. Sure, he is among the top 3 most crucial and powerful gods but being a Hindu, I can tell you, there are not many stories of him engaging in combat. Hell, none of the top 3 gods (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) ever had to step foot in any kind of battlefield. It's the secondary gods such as Indra, Varun, Hanuman etc and the different incarnations or avatars of the top 3 gods, that shaw action. You want action. Bring in Indra, Hanuman, Parashuram (Lord Vishnu's sixth avatar) etc.

Lord Shiva woke up, as the mountain was moving and smiled at Ravana then put his toe at the top of the mountain peak, and the weight was so immense for Ravana that his Arms collapsed under the mountain. And he just couldnt lift it, the pain was immense so he admitted his fault, recited Shiva Tandav Strotam and Shiva then went to him, and helped recover his arms from under the mountain.

Hi rez I've never played your games but as a Hindu, I can't describe my happiness for how much justice you've done to Shiva and our religion in general. In fact, you people care about our religion more than most of the "hindus" here in our country do. This might be a game but you're doing a great job in showing the world how our religion's really like. There's been a lot of demonization of Hinduism in recent times all over our country AND outside our country. Our gods and religion are often portrayed in a negative way almost all the time and to add salt to the wounds, our gods would get beaten by gods of other pantheons in pathetic ways (Records of Ragnarok and Marvel) which gives newcomers who know nothing about our religion a bad first impression and after constant exposure to portrayal this, this concept is in the back of their brain and anytime they choose to depict our religion and mythology, it would be like this which would make them mock us. They would purposefully make the lore of their series in such a way that we'd be garbage. Thank you for doing our religion, myth, gods and even the demons justice and you people have hearts of gold. I can confidently say that this depiction of Shiva has been one of the best ones globally if not the best. Keep on fighting the good fight hi rez and give this treatment to any other religions too. Make them accurate whether they're good or bad instead of making them either good or bad for the sake of an agenda.
