If you had to choose 1, would you get this or the competitor? Competitor holds less but you can get the extended mag so no biggie there. And the compensator wouldn’t come loose and the flared magwell is already there. I’m in debate now especially since they’re the same price. Spend this then pay for the magwell and the potential compensator getting loose. Let me know your thought in case I’m missing something. Thanks in advance!

I actually did not like the trigger at all. I installed a Timney trigger and it has transformed the pistol for me.

I bet it does feel better but for me it’s considered one of the nicest stock triggers i have as far as pistols in my safe. Whats the name of that timney trigger though?

I was going to buy this pistol till i found out the non sense of lock tite on the comp. Canik TTI for the win .

Get the Floyds or EB. Same thing. Then Dremel your factory base plates at a steeper angle. That's what he did.

How has the compensator been for you ? I see a lot of people saying they come loose even after adding threadlock , that’s a little disappointing and I hope it’s not true as I bought 2 of these but haven’t fired one yet

It had loosened up initially but after I applied a good bit of threadlock and let it sit for a day it hasn’t come loose since.

yea i took it out before i shot it reapplied the thread lock and adjusted it to my liking and shot 400 rds same day, beginning i had a few FTE but i was running 115, after 200 rds through the other 200 were ate up.

Faxon comps has had those issues prior to smith partnership on this firearm I wish they would have went with a different company for the comp cuz this one and all faxon comps look awful
