Thank you mcarbo. Just installed mine. In my shield 2.0. I went from a nasty 7.5 to 4.5 crisp trigger and perfect reset with zero creep. I didn’t even install the lighter striker safety spring yet. I’m waiting for a new set of sights first. Thank you for making this kit for us!

The best part - I learned how this gun works and how the pieces interrelate. My 2.0 front site would not budge, so I skipped that step. But the rest of the upgrade went smoothly. Trigger pull is definitively lighter and much smoother (although not technically measured). Thanks MCARBO!

The Smith & Wesson M&P semi auto is hands down the best compact semi auto handgun I've ever fired in my life after. I installed sub 5 lb enhanced trigger kit in both of ours. REALLY wish companies wouldn't use MIM strikers in their pistols. I have had broken strikers on my Canik TP9sfx, SIG P365 and my FN 509 Tactical, all because they are using CHEAP MIM strikers, instead of using machined strikers. A lot of it has to do with how well each company heat treats the strikers, but machined strikers would never have the issues. Anyways, great video!

At 1.00.25: "mass production...not coming back to make sure..". Reloaders have known how to polish off burrs and make things bright and shiny, en-mass, 100's of parts (cases) at a time. Hundreds of those stamped and sheared trigger bars could be tumbled, etched, plated, etc. at one time using the right equipment. Running a sheared edge (cam protrusion on the trigger bar against a striker block button) held in place by a cheap spring is not now or ever a good idea. Even when the razor sharp sheared edge on the protrusion wears smooth, now you have shards of steel fines running lose in your firearm. Good industrial engineers and machinists, know how to do it right, en-mass.

Make sure you are mounted in a vise with the sight up above the jaws a tad. It's hard to get it to budge without very firm fixing.
