However, the reason I chose to buy the SMITH Attack Max Chromapop Sunglasses from Runners Warehouse is that they wrap around my face so well, a little something called FULL coverage! I love how the SMITH Attack Max Chromapop Sunglasses wraps around my face to reduce wind, bugs, and dirt from flying into my eyes. The ergonomics and aerodynamics of this sunglasses option is really second to none in my opinion. The SMITH Attack Max Chromapop Sunglasses do not feel bulky at all, and when you are flying over the trails, that is great thing! I’ve ordered a set with the ChromaPop polarised red mirror lens. Supposed to be relatively Road specific light transmission. Having used the Oakley jawbreaker with Prizm Road lenses for 3 years now I’ll be interested to compare the two. Oakley specifically don’t polarise their prizm road lenses to allow glare to reflect off certain surface elements (like a wet patch - so you see it) whereas smith optics do polarise. Their properties outside of this are bound to be similar. Time will tell

I'm a cross country skier and I used to have lots of mid range price sunglasses but since I did my custom Oakley jawbreaker with prizm lens now I use only these pair, in every condition. One pricey pair of sunglasses is better than ten pair of mid range price sunglasses.. my next pair will probably be the Oakley Flight jacket, a Little similar to your Smith! 😉 For your preferences I think you should give a look at the Oakley eV zero, with prizm trail lens, let me know what you think! Smith makes quality optics. Have you considered what Roka is doing with their lineup of sunnies for both running and cycling? I'd be intrigued to know your thoughts. I've been running in a pair of Oakley Deviations, which are actually lifestyle sunglasses, but they've served me well for road running since the frame is all metal and the lenses are polarized for a very similar "pop" you experience with Smiths. I tried to jump on the Goodr train, but was very disappointed with the lens quality. There really is a difference when it comes to quality products. Thanks for the bonus content!

I love those lenses! But the completely frameless isn't my thing. I've used the same pair of Tifosi cycling glasses for the past six years. They certainly have some signs of wear, but that brand has held up well. At this point, I'd be more surprised if I lost hem before I broke them.

I purchased my Oakley Flak 2.0 XL's about four years ago, and have had nothing but good things to say about them. The only time that I have come close to breaking them is when I took a line drive off the face last spring. The lenses got peppered and cracked but did not shatter into my eyes and the frames survived with only a small scratch. I invested in some polarized lens last year, the Oakley PRIZM Daily Polarized.
