A couple days ago I got a completely winning position against a grandmaster with the Smith-Morra Gambit in a rapid simul. I unfortunately had less than a minute left on the clock and did not find the winning continuation. Just shows you the power of this gambit though.

There are many reasons why your videos are great, but one of them is the fact that they're "interactive". In the sense that you're talking to the chat and you pause to allow them to think. I struggled a little with your opening videos because they had a lot of content and not enough structural pauses. I do think the speed run videos give you the 20-80 effect for average players, which is why they're so great!

Unfortunately with twitch vods if they mute a section then you can't access the unmuted version of the vod unless you also recorded it locally. So unless the editor is really good at lip reading, captions would be quite difficult sadly

Funny enough, g6 was the losing move for black with the SF 15 dev eval jumping from 0.76 to 2.85+. Also, interestingly enough, the move Bc4 and not Nf3 was a mistake because the bishop comes to d3 in some lines. I guess Nf3 is more flexible and therefore better. Additionally, for the viewers who suggested f4, this move actually shifts the advantage to black because it is not a developing move and black can now exploit that diagonal.

why is d6 weak in the opening? I'm a beginner and this is the part I struggle with the most. Idk how I'm supposed to come up with analysis like that. If I look at what would happen if black went d6 right away it has 3 defenders. the pawn on e7 the bishop on f8 and the queen on d8. white on the otherhand would only have 2 attackers: their center pawn, and the queen. and the queen cant even attack d6 bc it would be captured by the black bishop just losing a queen
