Being a card carrying member of the sissified "comfort carry" club... I switch between the 351PD and... don't laugh... NAA Pug in .22WMR as well. Hey... what can I say man... at least I always have something on me.

As seniors we know what we like, and small, lightweight, low recoil firearms damn sure have a place in our armory...the heavier handguns are pretty much consigned to HD duty these days (and they do just fine at that), and in Feb '24 we carried a Beretta Jetfire today...I am thinking hard about acquiring a Keltec p32, plus maybe putting our NAA in a pocket...caliber is not as important as actually having one on you...

I had this one. Gave to my business partners wife. She loves it. Bought the 351c. Expensive. But I don’t mind spending money on quality and something I can carry daily. It does not collect dust in the safe. The Ruger was too big for my liking. Dandy revolver but I can carry the j frame appendix and pocket all day long in my suit and tie. I also have the NAA Ranger 2. Like a Rolex. Expensive as well but I carry daily along with my Sig p365 in 380. I rotate these along with a 638. J frames are timeless. I’m an undertaker. Don’t argue with caliber as I’ve embalmed several as a result of 22lr. Love your videos. Ty for your time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have this gun. really like it. good sweatpants in the house gun or summer carry. did not like the wood grips so I replaced them with the old splinter grip pattern. these are smooth and feel good. I didn't like the way the bottom of the stock grips felt when I curled my pinkie around the bottom. so the older style feels better. the trigger smooths out with use. get some A-Zoom snap caps and dry fire it. wish they made speed loaders for it.

I went gun shopping last weekend and looked at the S&W .22wmr The pistol is beautiful with the wooden grips. But the grip length for two fingers. Very very short. Maybe a woman's hand grip. I ended up buying the ruger LCR-X it has a longer rubber grip the I can hold onto with my entire hand. And it's-$200. Less then the S&W

Why the price jump from the 38spl? SW has these jframes on lock. If a 38 special is sub $500, why can't the 22lr or 22wmr? I get there's 3 more holes to drill in the cylinder but dang. It's not scandium or titanium like 360pd.

Thanks. Was really interested in this until I saw the price. $800 for a 22 mag anything is absurd, should be half that price IMO. My PMR30 that isnt much heavier than this and holds 30 rounds was only $400. Why are all S&W 22 revolvers twice the price of their 38s and same price as their 357? Quite ridiculous.

Hello warrior! I know that in front of the cameras and in front of the whole world, practically, we get a little nervous. I would just like to express my humble observation... so that the warrior does not fire 22 caliber weapons without ammunition because the precursor damages the keel of the drum or the chamber. Forgive me, just a reminder because I know you forgot this. Blessings in this coming year!

Good video. You might point out the Ruger LCR can be had in both the .22lr and .22 mag, either with an external hammer or with internal hammer only. The Ruger front sight is pinned and can be replaced with FO, SX Dot or night sight. IMO the Ruger has a better trigger pull but not nearly as good of trigger reset. To me the only advantage of the Smith over the Ruger is the reset and that is a significant difference. Additionally Hogue makes a bantam grip that fits the LCR series to make it more "pocketable". To me the issue isn't Ruger vs Smith but .22lr vs .22 mag. I've seen ballistic gel test and don't remember but I question whether there is enough real world performance of the mag over the LR from a 2" barrel considering both are manufactured in short barrel SD round, and I don't think they produce hollow point expansion from a short barrel. I don't think any difference in energy dump will matter. It's basically an issue of accuracy and sufficient penetration. The key is shooting a lot to make precise hits and "a lot" of shooting .22 mag is as expensive or more than 9mm range ammo. If I bought a .22 mag for SD I would buy a duplicate in .22 lr for range practice.
@michaelm233 Жыл бұрын
I believe the 22 has a few extra in capacity. I question whether I would want 6 or 7 mag rounds, or 8 standard 22 rounds?
@olvera6710 Жыл бұрын
There is a different in a lr to magnum because there is more powder. Look at lucky gunners test between the 38 special and 357 from a two inch barrel there is a difference no matter how you slice it.
