I would take the J-frame Lipsey in 32 H&R magnum.

I’m a semi-auto guy so Glock for me but I do like the wheel gun.

Good presentation. Important to cover the fact that revolvers especially “snubbies” require dedicated training and practice with the short sight radius, lower capacity, reloading, and achieving ease and comfort in especially the DA trigger pull. Also, key points on simplicity of the striker fired Glock with a lesser trigger pull and ease of reloading. You know my pick YB, the revolver almost every time for compact concealment and power. Thanks, sir!

Someone I know very well carries that M&P daily, everywhere.

G-36 all day over a j frame. I am right handed, but it is more than that. More accurate and fits my hand perfectly.

A longer trigger pull - but a very smooth trigger on these DAO revolvers... The DAO Ruger LCR is like this too (8 lb trigger); one of my favorite.

love the vid. im a j frame guy too.

This is like a flashback for me lol. At one point about 10 years ago I only had a 342 PD .38+P AND a Glock 36. I would alternate depending on the day. Always felt a lot safer with the Glock at the time, I mean they don't make one in .46.

38 was never questioned for a hundred years then suddenly it's under powered in a gunfight. Police and military used it as a primary for decades. Now all of a sudden it stopped being effective. People are so brainwashed about caliber, round count and brand.

Hmmm. I'm actually leaning towards the J frame for this one. 👍👍

2 awesome carry options! Love your chanel and videos. I usually carry a j frame, conceals so easily

Thanks! I agree, it’s tough to beat a good J-frame for concealment!

Agree with you on shooting double action revolver is something you got to practice, if good at it makes you a better shot in my mind.

36 or 30 that’s the question?

I have both, great guns! For carry I’d take revolver everyday, smaller, weight is nothing, low recoil 357 mag gold dots or Barnes from Buffalo bore are great in it. I use 340pd for more deep carry or backup pew pew.

There are some dudes that had to use their snubby in self defence. With 357 Mag from such a short barrel they killed their hearing.

The Zeta6 J-PAKs are a great compromise between speedloaders and speedstrips. I carry two with Underwood 100gr Xtreme Defender everyday with my 442-1.

I carry a S&W .38 Bodyguard or my Colt DS.

I disagree with the emphasis on trigger pull that most people put out there. Remember what the gun is built for and quit trying to make it a target pistol. It is a close quarters weapon and that slightly heavier trigger isn't going to stop you from getting the work done that it was designed for. Way, way too much over thinking it about weapon accuracy in this category of firearm.
@graywind4326Ай бұрын
That particular Glock has a huge capacity issue and thickness issue compared to whats out there now. You have what you have though.

Why does EVERY SINGLE video on revolver vs. semi do not include reload times when there is no spare magazine? Every video I've seen on the subject ASSUMES that a carrier has unlimited spare magazines. Try a comparison of empty guns with just some loose bullets on hand and then reloading each gun type. How would that end up? Answer: the semi would be SLOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW. That said, it was overall a good video.
