I had the Shield Plus for years. I loved it. So I somewhat upgraded and got the Shield Plus O.R. Same Shield but now I have an optic option. Shield Plus is the perfect c.c. pistol. Very manageable recoil and very flat shooting

I did too, but I turned P365XL into a home defense gun. I added a wilson combat grip with tungsten weights and a holosun 407k. Also going to add a threaded barrel, compensator, and light

I absolutely love my shield plus!! I bought mine from the performance center with the ported barrel and slide. It also has the fiber optic sights. It is definitely the best shooting micro pistol that I've ever owned. There is little to no felt recoil and back on target effortlessly!! Nice video!!

Quick correction: S&W considers this a Micro Compact, not a Sub-Compact (as labeled in your title). 😊 I recently posted a vid on this same model. This little beauty became by EDC months ago, and I've yet to find anything that should take her place. I have a few Sigs that I still haven't thoroughly tested yet, but I can't recommend the Shield Plus enough. Definitely more bang for the buck than a Glock, and for less buckaroos too. 😁

I made my Shields into Subcompacts. I Bought used a 9mm Shield. Changed out the trigger. Installed a 3 5/8 inch Threaded Barrel from Faxon, New Sites (Front Site bent), A Hogue Grip.. Also have a 9mm Shield Plus and installed a 3 5/8 inch True Precision Threaded Barrel. Also a Hogue Grip. Great Stability and Accuracy. Shooting 12 ounces hanging Beer cans 20 yards easy and 40 yards Body size Targets. Reliability 100 present. Even with no Optic Cuts nor light rail, I am Very Vary happy with them.

You are correct about the 4” barrel versions shooting smoother and, for me, more accurately. I have the Shield Plus, 2.0 Shield 40 and 2.0 Shield 45, all with 4” barrels. I have shot the short barrel counterparts to each of these pistols and, in my opinion, the longer barrel makes a big improvement in all three calibers.

Shield plus is my carry. With critical defense and a holosun 407k... Also, I have a grip extension for my CZP10C made by this guy. It's super legit. Fits the p10f mag and fills the gap perfectly.

The shield plus is the best shooting micro compact on the market, whether someone likes it or not. It doesn't come with the prestige a Glock or Sig has but it is the better shooter. Not to mention the ported shield plus...

yes, the Shield pus is a great carry gun, but I don't get all the fuss about capacity...most of us realize you/I will never use more than 2-3 shots in a self defensive situation. I prefer the single stack Shield bc it's thinner and lighter. If or when I decide to visit 'that part of town' I'll carry a couple spare mags.

I have a shield plus performance center ported 3.1 inch barrel. I like everything about it & the newer trigger on it. Do you think a 4inch barrel non ported shield plus would shoot-handle the same, or better than mine (with the 3.1 barrel ). Really like & appreciate your great informative video. Thanks

I carry my old M&P 9mm duty gun as well as my other duty gun a Glock 22. As far as the two guns I carried I personally like the M&P much better and it is first generation.

Not to mention the fact that with the Plus, you are now able to release the slide lock with your thumb, which was impossible with the original shield. I know some people don’t care about that and it’s not really a big deal but I just like the fact that I can do that now if I want to.

💯 I gave into to the hype and bought a g19, and I hate it. Shoots off, sites are garbage, trigger sucks, and ergonomics are weak. Thing feels like a brick in my pants trying to appendix. Il be swapping it out for a shield plus very soon
